二、【知识点金】
1、She goes cycling twice a week and often goes mountain climbing on Sundays.
她一周去骑两次自行车，而且每逢星期天她经常去爬山。
①英语的次数表达：一次 、两次 、三次 、四次 、…由此可知，除一次、两次外，三次及以上用 来表达。对“次数”提问时，常用的特殊疑问词是 。
②twice a week被称作频度副词短语，它和我们所学过的频度副词always、usually、often、sometimes、seldom、never一样,被提问时都用 。
2、She spends half an hour doing exercise in the gym every day.
她每天花费半小时在体育馆中锻炼。
①spend V.花费，过去式为 ，其用法是：主语只能是 ，宾语是
或 。常用短语是：spend...on sth/spend...(in) doing sth
②exercise属于兼类词，⑴作V.意为“锻炼”与do/take exercise意思相同。如：Tom is exercising on the playground.(汤姆正在操场锻炼呢。)⑵作n.既可作n(u)意为“运动、锻炼”（如本句）又可作n(c)意为“体操、作业”如：do eye exercises(做眼保健操)、do exercises=do homework(做作业)
3、She is also good at jumping.她也擅长跳。
①英语中“也”（too/also/as well/neither）的区别：
也 句式 句中的位置
too 肯定句、疑问句 句子末尾、用“，”和句子分开
also 肯定句 实意动词之前，be动词、情态动词、助动词之后
as well 肯定句 句子末尾、要不要“，”都可以
neither 否定句 句子末尾、用“，”和句子分开
② be good at意为“擅长、在…方面做得好”它的宾语是n . pron .或doing。它的同义短语是 ；反义短语是 。
4、There is going to be a school sports meet next weekend.下个周末要举行一次校运动会。
①There is going to be…是There be…的一般将来时形式。

be going to（be的变化看主语）
②“校运动会”可以说成：a school sports meet(美式)，也可以说成： a school sports meeting（英式） 【注意】sport后面跟名词时，sport一定要变为sports。
如：运动鞋 、运动服 。
③判断句子的时态一般看时间。“next+时间名词”是我们判断一个句子用一般将来时的一个依据。We (have) an English test next Friday.
5、They are sure that she will win.他们确信她会获胜。
be sure...的主要用法：⑴be sure of sb信任某人 如：Are you sure of your teacher 你信任你的老师吗？ ⑵be sure of/about sth对某事有把握 如：Are you sure of/about this math test 你对这次数学考试有把握吗？ ⑶be sure to do sth肯定要做某事 如：
Look! It’s sure to rain.瞧吧！天肯定要下雨。 ⑷be sure that+句子 相信... 如：He is sure that he can do it.他相信他能行。
6、 relax V.使放松 relax sb使某人放松 relax oneself 使自己放松
