W: Why not get money from your parents They are wealthy and they can afford your education.
M: Yes. My parents are fairly well off. But I want to earn some money on my own.
W: Can yon get enough money to finish your education by taking part-time jobs
M: Of course not. But I do very well in my study and the college will give me some money as an encouragement.
W: Yon are really great. I must learn from you.
M: Thank you.
Monologue
The first Tree Planting Day was in 1987. Every year, on March 12th, office workers, soldiers, students and old people go out to plant trees.
It was Tree Planting Day last Sunday. Our class went to plant trees. We met at the school gate at seven in the morning. Then we went to a park about five kilometers away from our school by bus. When we arrived, we started to work at once. We worked in pairs. We took turns to dig holes in the ground. It was hard work, but we enjoyed it. When the holes were deep enough, we put the young trees in them, and then filled them again. After that we got some water from a river and watered the trees.
At the end of the day, we had planted over three hundred trees.
Good evening. Here's the weather report for the next 24 hours. Beijing will be sunny. The highest temperature will be 6, and the lowest temperature will be minus 4. It's good to go for an outing in the daytime. Harbin will be cloudy with the highest temperature of minus 3 and the lowest temperature of minus 15. It's good for skating. These days a lot of people come to the city to see the carved ice show(冰雕). Xi'an will be sunny, and the temperature will be from zero to seven.
