W: Er, that's hard to say. But I like running.
M: You run very fast, don't you
W: Yes, but not the fastest. Lily runs much faster than I.

W: Did you take part in the sports meeting last year

Monologue
It was a Sunday morning. The sun was shining. John was busy with doing his homework at the desk in his bedroom carefully when Torn came in. He asked John to play football in the street. Because John's favorite sport was football, and he wanted to play it very much. But he didn't finish doing his homework. A few minutes later Tom heard someone calling his name while he was going to the street. He looked behind. It was John. He told Tom not to play it in the street. It was very dangerous. He asked Tom to go to the school playground to play. Tom thanked John a lot.
I am Robert Forrest, an engineer. I'm a Canadian. Now I work in a beautiful city in the east of China. I like to be busy and often make my weekends busy and interesting.
Last week I really enjoyed myself very much. On Saturday morning, I got up at 9:00. It was a fine day. After breakfast, I cleaned my room and washed some clothes. At about 11:30, I got a phone call from my friends, Mike and Kris, so I went to visit them in the afternoon and we went to see a film. After that we had dinner together. We talked a lot about our life in China. We all had a good time.
On Sunday morning, I asked my girlfriend Nancy to go to the park to see the cherry flowers. She is a teacher in a middle school. The sun was shining brightly. There were many people in the park. Some of them took pictures, some just sat under the trees, talking and laughing. We took many photos of the flowers, too. After lunch, we went to the bookstore and bought some books, and then we visited the Space Net Bar. There we sent e-mails to our parents in Canada. In the evening, Nancy went to teacher class and I went home, I watched a football match, but it wasn't very interesting. So I took a bath and went to bed with a book at about 9:40. I usually read some books before sleep.
