1. What do you want to be when you grow up
when用作连词，“当……时”，用来引导时间状语从句。在when引导的时间状语从句中，主语是一般将来时，从句要用一般现在时表示将来。
2. How are you going to do that I’m going
to practice basketball every day.
这是一个be going to用于特殊疑问句的句子，
be going to表示将要发生的动作，“计划，打
算”，后跟动词原形。常跟表将来的时间连用。
practice作动词，表示“（不间断地）练习”，后可用名词作宾语，若跟动词时需用动词-ing形式。
例：He always wants to practice his English
with me.
他总是想跟我练习英语。

why引导的宾语从句的复合句。why从句作know的宾语，需用陈述句语序。why在此作连词，意为“为什么”。
be good at“擅长，在……方面成绩好”，at后可接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。

be sure about sth/doing sth. 确信某事，
确信做某事，对做某事有把握。
例：他确信他们会对这个感兴趣。

be sure的用法：
(1) be sure＋of/about+动词-ing形式或名词，
“确信 ……； 对……有把握”。
例：他自信会成功的。
He is sure of success.
(2) be sure + that从句，“肯定……；有
把握……”主句的主语一定是人，可以替换为

例：我相信吸烟对你没有好处。
