同:When you grow up,what do you want to be
句意:当你长大以后,你想要成为什么?
when此处用作连词,意为“当……时”,用来引导时间状语从句。即:主句+when+从句。
如果主句是过去时,从句也要用过去时;
如果主句是一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时,即“主将从现”。
eg:I was short when I was 13.我13岁的时候个子很矮。
I'll visit you when I come back.我回来时会去拜访你。
