如本文结尾通过“WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS”一语双关,出人意料,引人发笑。

When my dear sister Rose was four years old and I was ten, we somehow liked to play tricks on each other. But sometimes, we lost control of the tricks, which caused us to take revenge on each other.
One night, I stayed in our yard talking to my friends after Rose came into the house. When I finally got inside, walked upstairs quietly without turning on any lights, my sister had guessed my every move and had piled chairs at the entrance of our room.Of course, I came crashing into them.My parents had fallen asleep.Afraid to wake them up, I had to bite my lip to keep from yelling when my knees were hit hard on the chair! My surprise and anger turned into a plan for revenge the next night.
So at bedtime when my sister went to brush her teeth, I turned off the lights and took out a bottle of glue. Then I poured it on her pillow.I had a vision of her waking up with the pillow all stuck to her head. But my plan was destroyed when she came in and smelled the glue.“What is on my pillow?” she asked with her eyes wide open as she turned on the light.“I don't know,” I said innocently. Then I started to laugh, out of breath.“Mel Ann, you are so stupid!”she said with controlled anger in her voice.
“So now if you don't want me to tell Mom and Dad that you ruined my pillow, you'll go and make me a sandwich,” she added.I had to give in and answered, “Fine!” I didn't want to be grounded (限制外出).So I quietly went downstairs to the kitchen without waking my parents. But once I got there, more thoughts of revenge got the better of me.And I added hot sauce to Rose's sandwich.Rose got a hot mouthful in the first bite.So she yelled, “That's it! Now I'm telling on you!”
“No! No!” I begged her.
注意:1.续写词数应为80左右;

“Okay, then you eat it!” she demanded. So I took a bite and instantly my mouth was on fire! I quickly and quietly went to the bathroom for a glass of water. When I returned, Rose said, “Okay, if you take one more bite, we will be even.” “All right; give it to me,” I said, feeling upset about the mess I had made. But this time when I took a bite, I almost threw up! I backed to the bathroom.Rose had put cold cream in the sandwich! I was angry and hit her hard with the pillow, which made her immediately cry.
[阅读拓展训练]
Chaplin arrived at our Keystone Film Company in early December 1913.We rushed him into a short film called Making a Living as fast as we could. There was trouble: Chaplin's music-hall costume was funny on stage with British comedians, but no good on the screen with Chester Conklin playing a policeman.Henry Lehrman was the director, but he worked Chaplin too fast.Chaplin didn't know
what he was doing. It was shown on February 2, 1914 to disappointing reviews and box office results.Later we sent it out under different titles, such as A Busted Johnny, Troubles, and Doing His Best.No matter what we called it, the film found little favor with most moviegoers.
“We just got our little company in the black,” Charles O.Baumann shouted at me.“Now with this silly cheap comedian you picked out of nowhere, you're pushing us into the red.” I stuck up for my decision to put Charlie Chaplin in films.“The trouble is,” I said,“we haven't got his character right yet.We haven't got his timing right, either.Or his make-up and costume.Give me a little time and I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie Chaplin turns out to be a fair actor.”
We were learning how to use a promising actor.Still, Chaplin was considered a strange man by my team of professionals. They considered him cheap. He wasn't cheap. He simply didn't enjoy drinking or partying. He preferred his own company. He often walked the streets on his own at night watching things and people. He lived in a cheap hotel and he stayed in it until long after he became worth a million dollars a year.
By the time Chaplin had made fairly short films, we knew what a great find we had.He had watched and listened and asked questions, and learned from Mabel Normand. He was still shy and tongue-tied but he thought he was different from other comedians. This was how Chaplin started to become Charlie Chaplin.

Chaplin arrived at our Keystone Film Company in early December 1913.We rushed him into a short film called Making a Living as fast as we could. There was trouble: Chaplin's music hall costume was funny on stage with British comedians, but no good on the screen with Chester Conklin playing a policeman.Henry Lehrman was the director, but he worked Chaplin too fast.Chaplin didn't know what he was doing. It was shown on February 2, 1914 to disappointing reviews and box office results.Later we sent it out under different titles, such as A Busted Johnny, Troubles, and Doing His Best.No matter what we called it, the film found little favor with most moviegoers.
“We just got our little company in the black,” Charles O.Baumann shouted at me.“Now with this silly cheap comedian you picked out of nowhere, you're pushing us into the red.” I stuck up for my decision to put Charlie Chaplin in films.“The trouble is,” I said,“we haven't got his character right yet.We haven't got his timing right, either.Or his make up and costume.Give me a little time and I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie Chaplin turns out to be a fair actor.”
He was still shy and tongue tied but he thought he was different from other comedians. This was how Chaplin started to become Charlie Chaplin.
