一 、教材分析
本课为一篇阅读语篇, 主题语境为“人与自然 ”,体裁类型为说明文 。文本共分为两部分,第一部分介绍交通给环境和人的健康带来的危害,并以英国的数据为例进行说明,如过去十年平均每年交通事故导致 2500 人死亡,而由交通引起的污染导致每年仅三万人死亡。第二部分就如何摒弃使用汽车提出了五种方法 。语篇旨在引导学生意识到交通对于环境和人的健康的危害,进而达到提高环境保护意识的目的。
二 、学情分析
我班学生的英语能力整体上位于年级中等偏下水平,大部分学生有一定的英语学习基础,具备基本英语学习习惯和意识,朗读能力较好,但仍有英语阅读词汇量不足和语境意识缺乏的问题,英语中的四大能力都较欠缺。本课中的所要提升的阅读能力也是学生所缺乏的。总体来看,学生在学习本课前已经学习了 Topic Talk, 对环保的相关话题较为熟悉, 积累了与破坏环境、保护环境的话题词汇, 可以用简单的词汇和短语表达自己的观点, 如 : recyclable, cut down, plastic waste, I totally agree., That's very true.等 。在 Lesson1 阅读课中, 学生积累了一些关于环保必要性以及如何保护环境的词汇和表达, 如: take actions, take steps, we need to..., improve farming methods, use natural source of energy 等。在 Lesson 2 听力课中,学生学习了如何分辨说话人的观点,并能掌握如何表达观点和赞同观点,如I think,I have to say I agree with you on that, I understand that.在本节课,学生能进一步学习车辆与环保相关话题的文章, 克服阅读困难。
三 、教学目标
1.学生能获取与梳理出交通给英国的环境和人的健康带来的危害,就如何摒弃使用汽车给出的五种方法等主要信息, 分享阅读感受, 整合文本信息。 2.掌握记笔记的方法, 并能在具体情境中正确运用动词短语。 3.分析个人和社会活动给环境带来的影响, 阐述解决办法。
四 、教学重难点
· 教学重点: 1.学生能阅读和理解英国汽车使用的现状和所带来的系列问题,获取、梳理、整合出文本的主要信息。2.分析个人和社会活动给环境带来的影响, 阐述解决办法。 · 教学难点: 1.学生能够准确推测作者的写作目的 、作者对汽车对环境造成的影响的态度。2.学生能表达个人对保护环境的建议和具体做法,提高个人环保意识。
