第一节
Last Saturday, our school conducted a Fire Evacuation Drill. As the alarm sounded, all students and teachers quickly left their classrooms in an orderly manner, following the marked escape routes. They gathered at the designated safe area within three minutes. Firefighters demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers, and some students tried it themselves.
This drill was highly meaningful. It not only raised our awareness of fire safety but also taught us how to respond calmly in emergencies. Such practical knowledge is essential for protecting lives and reducing panic in real situations.
第二节(读后续写)
After that, we gathered each day to open one more gift. Each present was simple but thoughtful: a box of homemade cookies, a hand-knitted scarf, a book of Christmas stories. With every gift, our hearts grew warmer. Rachel’s eyes sparkled with joy, and even our teenage son Tim smiled. The anonymous giver had reminded us that we were not alone, and that kindness could find us even in the coldest season.
For two decades, we have made it a family tradition to give gifts to strangers before Christmas. Every year, we prepare a box with twelve small presents and leave it on someone’s doorstep, just as someone once did for us. We never sign our names, hoping only to pass on the same warmth and hope that once lifted our spirits during a difficult time.
