一、教材分析
本课是人教版Go for it八年级（上）unit 8单元中Section A 1a-1c部分，本课时主要内容就是学习关于职业的单词以及be going to 的用法。围绕职业这一话题展开各种教学活动，让学生用一般将来时谈论未来自己与他人理想的职业及原因，为实现理想所做出的打算和安排。以前已经学习了一些关于职业的词汇，在复习旧的词汇的基础上再去预习新课中的词汇，让学生有目的地上课，并在课堂学习中不断获得完成此任务所必须的知识、能力、技能等，为最终完成任务作全面的准备。本课位于人教版八年级上6 单元的第一部分。主要是通过学习动词的一般将来时态，讨论人生理想和将来打算、计划。目的是通过对人生理想的讨论使青少年仅对未来有美好的憧憬，而且要从现在做起，为崇高的理想目标而努力学习。
二、语言知识

情感目标：通过对理想职业的讨论，让学生从小就树立自己的人生理想，并且现在就下定决心，把握美好学习时光，为理想而努力奋斗，实现自己的目标。
语言结构：1）be going to表示将来；2）want to be；3）what, when, where引导的特殊疑问句。

本节课主要学习职业名称和谈论对有关职业的将来规划。在教学中，我通过大量呈现图片，生动直观地向同学们介绍了各种职业单词，并创设了相应的情境，让他们相应的即时操练。同时采用猜谜活动及小组竞赛、英语歌曲等巩固复习所学知识点，引起学生的学习兴趣。整个操作过程是听说读写四个步骤，一环套一环，环环相扣。听说领先，读写跟上，符合语言习得规律。尽量让每一个同学参与其中，能很好地开展小组竞争并且进行评价。在导入的各个环节，过渡自然，给学生设计的活动，都符合初八年级学生的认识规律。在本堂课的教学中充分使用了多媒体技术，通过多媒体集图、音、文字等于一身的优势，让学生直观的感受知识，取得了不错的效果。但还有许多不足之处。
不足之处：
由于时间关系，有些地步地方没有尽情的展开。所以，虽然调动了学生的积极性，却没有让全面的学生充分的参与。尤其是写作及课堂达标环节时间略显仓促。
教学环节衔接不够自然、紧凑，英语课堂语言不够精练，课堂指令不够清晰。
教学方法应该多加创新，充分调动学生的积极参与性。
课堂评价环节用时较多，学生的激励性评价方法也应该进一步完善。
