一、教学目标
1. 能正确理解句子“Look at the green beans.”“They're so long！”“Yes, and the potatoes are big.”。
2. 能听、说、认读词汇tomato、potato、carrot和green beans。
二、教学重点、难点
1. 能够听懂并掌握词汇tomato、potato、carrot和green beans的正确发音，掌握单词potato和tomato的复数形式。
2. 复数名词作主语时句子的表达。
三、教学准备
单词卡片、教学光盘和多媒体课件。
教学过程
Step 1：Review&Lead in(复习&导入)
1. 请两组学生表演本单元Part A Let's talk的对话。
2. 教师出示一张西红柿图片，说“This is a tomato.”。教师又拿出一张两个西红柿的图片，说“I have two tomatoes. I like tomatoes. Do you like tomatoes？”，引导学生回答“Yes.”或“No.”。
3. “猜一猜”游戏。
教师出示谜语：They are vegetables. They are orange. The rabbits like them very much. What are they？学生猜测答案胡萝卜，从而引出新单词carrots。教师“I like carrots. They are yummy.”， 询问学生是否喜欢胡萝卜。
通过复习上节课学过的蔬菜，自然引入本节课蔬菜的学习。
Step 2：Presentation&Practice(新课呈现&当堂操练)
1. 教师出示豆角图“Oh, they're long and green. They are green beans. Do you like green beans？”， 板书green beans，让学生在回答中学习词汇。
2. 教师出示土豆“Do you know it？French fries are made of it. It's a potato. Do you like potatoes？”， 板书单词potato，学生跟读，学生根据自己的实际情况用“I like ...”或“I don't like ...”进行表达。
3. 教师展示tomato、carrot、green beans和potato的单词卡和图片，提问“What's this？/What are these？”，引导学生作答。
教师展示本部分复数形式的单词卡和图片，教师领读单词，学生轮流读单词，做到读音正确。
4. 教师更换单词卡(正面单数，反面复数)图片，并提问“What's this？”或“What are these？” 引导学生分别回答“It's a tomato./They are tomatoes.”。 抽选单词卡，师生重复问答。

5. 摸一摸，说一说。
教师把单词卡放到盒子里，让学生轮流抽取，然后向大家介绍卡片内容，其他同学猜。
S1: They are (so) red and big. What are these?
Ss: Are they tomatoes?
S1: Yes, they are.
教师鼓励学生轮流到台前抽取卡片，进行问答练习。
Step 3：Consolidation&Extension(巩固&拓展)
1. Let's chant
(1)播放录音，让学生熟悉节奏。
(2)分句播放录音，让学生跟唱。
(3)小组活动：让每一组五个人分别手拿tomatoes、potatoes、carrots、green beans和onions的词汇卡，师生一起唱歌谣，当唱到对应单词，如tomatoes时，每个小组的对应同学就举起手中的词汇卡。唱第二遍时，学生交换手中的词汇卡。
2. 小组内选一名学生，抽取蔬菜卡片中的一个，让其他同学猜测名称。

Step 4：Summary(小结)
本课我们重点学习了四种蔬菜的名称：tomato、green beans、potato和carrot 及其复数形式。

教学反思
1. 亮点：本节课主要学习几种蔬菜的名称及其复数形式。教师通过上一节课所学的内容引出tomatoes与carrots降低了学生学习新知的难度；教师进一步通过单词卡片对比区分名词的单数形式与复数形式，让学生一目了然，掌握的知识也更加牢固。
2. 不足之处：tomatoes与potatoes学生容易混淆，carrots个别学生读音不准。
3. 教学建议：教师结合图片，将tomatoes与potatoes两者对比学习，加以区分；重点领读carrots读音，纠正读音不准的同学的发音。
