Step 1:Warm up

Step2: Let’s learn and review. 
T: We know his time, what about Zoom? Do you want to know? OK, let’s look at Zoom’s day.(播放课件:Zoom’s day) 
 
T(指着7:00)问:What time is it? 
Ss: It’s 7:00. 
T: It’s time to get up. So Zoom should wake up now. Yes or no? 
(板书,wake up并配以相应的图片) 
T: What time is it? (指着课件,7:00) 
Ss: It’s 7:00. Zoom should have breakfast. But Zoom doesn’t want to wake up. He wants to sleep.( 做相应的动作) 并板书,sleep并配以相应的动作。 
T: What time is it? (指着课件,7:20)It’s time to go to school. But we know zoom is sleeping.(做动作)So he is late for school. (出示课件,I’m late for school)

Step3:Listen to the story 
T: OK. You are so clever. Now we know Zoom’s day. Here is a story about Zoom, do you want to know the story? (Ss: Yes!) 
T: Listen to the tape carefully and answer the question. 
What time is it now? Is it 8 o’clock or 7’clock? 
(播放录音) 
T: Answer the question. ( S1answer the question and check the answer together) 
What is Zoom doing ? 
What does Zoom want to do? 
What’s the time on Zip’s clock? 
Is Zoom late for school? 
(Lead in naughty and April fool.) 
T: After you listen, we know Zip cheats Zoom. Zip is naughty. April fools day is coming, Zoom is the April fool. I hope you are not the April fool. 
(设计意图:让学生带着问题去听,回答出问题,然后让学生模仿录音的语音语调,跟读模仿,整体感知, 并通过问题引出 naughty zip, April fool.) 
Step4: Follow the tape and perform 
1. Follow the tape.(Pay attention to your intonation) 
2. Read the story in pairs. 
3.Perform the story.(学生上台表演, 师与一生先做示范) 
(设计意图:在整体感知故事后,学生跟读故事并两人之间进行练习,加深了对故事的理解。学生上台表演,加强了学生的口头表达能力和应用能力)

(设计意图:通过师生对话,生生对话,最后让学生表演,既有语言输入的过程,也有输出的过程。)
