一、说教材
1.本单元的地位与作用：本单元排在Unit
3

sister.之后，在学习了形容词和副词的比较级的基础上进一步学习形容词和副词的另一个比较等级——最高级。通过复习一些形、副词的比较级，自然地导入本单元的最高级，让学生在完成任务的过程中运用所学知识进行英语交流，培养学生英语综合运用的能力。本课是本单元的第一课时，本课时必须让学生明确了解什么是最高级，什么时候使用这个比较等级，用它的时候需要注意的问题，为接下来的学习和练习打下基础。

二、学情分析
本课的教学操练点，谈论的话题是theater,
cinema,
radio
station等学生平时接触少,了解少的场所，初二的学生虽然思维能力较强，但注意力容易分散;虽然对英语普遍感兴趣，但有很大的不稳定性。因此，本课采取独立呈现（一一讨论）,综合操练的方式,让学生逐渐理解消化。
三、说教法
1.用英语授课:在教学过程中尽量用英语授课，创造英语课堂良好的听的环境，让学生充分感知，积极体验，大胆实践，把握用英语交际的机会。
2.常规教学法:突出重点，突破难点，注重培养学生的实际预言知识能力。
3.游戏教学法:设计猜谜游戏练习形容词最高级巩固所学知识，有效地激发学生的学习兴趣和活跃课堂气氛。
4.借助多媒体辅助教学:
形象、生动，使课堂容量相对增加，给学生提供更多的语言实践机会，有利于提高学生的语言综合运用能力。
四、说学法
1养成良好的学习习惯:发挥学生的主观能动性，变被动学习为主动学习，利用学过的形容词和副词练习描述学生身边的人和事，更好地把握课堂的重点和难点，提高课堂效本。
2.重点内容反复强调，学生做好笔记:对教师在课堂上所讲到的语言知识点，学生应及时整理，再次认识并积极使用，而且要有安排地经常复习，这样才不会学了新的，忘了旧的。
3.积极操练，重在口头:鼓励学生在课堂上要积极参与教师设计的每个活动，要大胆开口出现错误老师不责备;课后也要积极主动地与同学进行英语交流。这样才能将书本知识变成自己的知识和语言能力。
