1、How do North Americans dress What do they wear on special days
北美地区的人们怎样穿衣？他们在特殊的日子穿什么衣服？
（1）在特殊的日子
（说明：days表示“日子”、“时代” 如：在古代 ）
（2）dress 和wear的区别：wear表示“穿着”、“戴着”，强调状态，与 have on 、be in、be dressed in同义,其宾语只能是服装。而dress表示“穿衣”，强调动作，与put on同义,它的宾语一般是人。如：dress sb给某人穿衣，dress oneself 给某人自己穿衣，dress up妆扮、打扮
2、What people wear depends on their likes and dislikes.
人们穿什么衣服取决于他们的喜欢和不喜欢
（1）这是一个主语从句。What people wear是一个 疑问句，在这个句子中作主语，它的语序要变成 语序，谓语动词用 形式。
（2）依靠、依赖、取决于 依靠某人做某事
3、On birthdays,some children wear paper party hats.过生日的时候，一些孩子会戴纸礼帽。

4、It is nearly the same in northern China.这在中国的北方几乎一样。
（1）几乎一样 和…一样
（2）nearly 和almost是同义词，意为“几乎、差不多”。
①almost 可用于 any 以及 no, none, nobody, nothing, never 等否定词之前，但 nearly 一般不这样用。如：Almost any man can do it. 几乎任何人都会做。
Almost no one came to the party. 几乎没有人来参加晚会。
②两者都可用在否定动词之前。如：He almost [nearly] didn’t catch the bus. 他差点没赶上公共汽车。
③nearly 前可用 very, pretty, not 等词修饰，但 almost 之前不能用这些词。如：It’s not nearly so difficult as you think.这远不像你想`象的那么难。
④nearly表示“接近”。常可与almost换用，但在具体数字前常用nearly

【注意】too 、 also 、 as well 、 either的区别
（1）too 、 also 、 as well用于 句；either用于 句。
（2）too 、as well 、either放在句子 ；also放在句子 。
