本单元的话题是课余活动,
求学生能谈论从事活动的频率,3a-3c为写作板块,3a根据表格补全范文,3b运用表格整理信息,3c是仿写范文,是一篇关于自己生活习惯的短文。通过复习已学过的动词及短语,使学生积极参与主动合作,让学生在完成任务的过程中使用英语获取信息,用英语进行交流,从而培养学生运用英语的能力,本课时主要在此基础上培养学生对语言知识点的综合运用能力,让学生学会阅读,学会写作,会根据3a,3b的内容进行写作:谈自己的生活习惯,让学生在体验中内化语言知识,从而培养学生对频率副词及how
often句型的使用能力。
学情分析:
通过一年的英语学习八年级的学生能理解一些简单的口语,能够谈论日常活动,
之前学过一些相关的频率副词,本单元谈论的活动频率与学生的生活息息相关,因此学生将会有很大的兴趣参与本单元的话题,但是对于大部分学生来说是困难的,所以写作前要做好准备工作。
教学目标:
1.记忆单词和短语:writer,dentist,magazine,however,than,almost,none,less,point,more
than,
less
than。
2.通过练习,巩固一般现在时。
3.复习询问或谈论别人饮食、锻炼的频率、休息的时间及选择不同频率的理由。
4.学会运用所学的
频率词来谈论某人的生活习惯。
教学重难点:
1.能运所给的提示词来描写个人的饮食起居等方面的习惯。
2.灵活运用一般现在时及各种句式。
3.运用一些相关资料对他人进行好习惯与坏习惯的调查,进行写作训练。
设计思想:
本课教学内容是八年级上Unit
2
第四课时,通过复习已学的动词和短语,巩固对短文的理解与掌握,巩固一般现在时态的用法,以夯实基础,又根据3a内容作例子,完成写作训练,以提高写作技能。
教学方法:
本单元可综合运用讲授式、启发式、自主学习、合作学习等各种策略,提供大量的学习资源,通过完成课本中的教学任务和其他学习任务与作业活动,使学生能够学到知识,增加他们的学习乐趣,来培养学生的自主学习的能力及表达能力和逻辑思维能力。利用教学图片或制作多媒体课件来展开课堂Pair
work,
Group
work的口语交际活动,并通过询问他人的业余活动,阅读课文来了解有关其他人的业余活动。同时在小组合作学习的过程中,进一步促进学生对一般现在时态的理解和运用,培养他们在现代生活中所需要的团队合作精神。
