Peer pressure happens when people are influenced to do something that they are unwilling to do because they want to be accepted by their peers. Peer pressure can affect people in many ways and is hard to resist. Peer pressure can lead to weak or different individuals being bullied. To avoid peer pressure, young people should build up self-confidence by choosing friends wisely and think about the consequences of their actions.
