通过一张图片知道故事主人公是Kitty，通过音频和图片知道Kitty在写邮件，接着通过问题和图片相结合的方式了解到Kitty写给Gary的邮件中介绍了自己的个人信息，家庭成员，家人们的职业，最后希望能够收到回信，让学生通过图片和音频的相结合独立思考回答给出的相关问题回答，然后进行短文的小填空，进行了解信件的大意，再通过视频、跟读、齐读和表演的方式进行巩固信件，再通过课本练习填写Kitty的信息进行检查学生的学习情况，再通过询问学生是否需要网友，通过两人一组进行相关问答，最后写一封邮件给自己的网友进行巩固练习。
