B
Larry
was
on
another
of
his
underwater
expeditions(探险)
but
this
time,
it
was
different.
He
decided
to
take
his
daughter
along
with
him.
She
was
only
ten
years
old.
This
would
be
her
first
trip
with
her
father
on
what
he
had
always
been
famous
for.
Larry
first
began
diving
when
he
was
his
daughter’s
age.
Similarly,
his
father
had
taken
him
along
on
one
of
his
expeditions.
Since
then,
he
had
never
looked
back.
Larry
started
out
by
renting
diving
suits
from
the
small
diving
shop
just
along
the
shore.
He
had
hated
them.
They
were
either
too
big
or
too
small.
Then,
there
was
the
instructor.
He
gave
him
a
short
lesson
before
allowing
him
into
the
water
with
his
father.
He
had
made
an
exception.
Larry
would
never
have
been
able
to
go
down
without
at
least
five
hours
of
theory
and
another
similar
number
of
hours
on
practical
lessons
with
a
guide.
Children
of
his
age
were
not
even
allowed
to
dive.
After
the
first
expedition,
Larry’s
later
diving
adventures
only
got
better
and
better.
There
was
never
a
dull
moment.
In
his
black
and
blue
suit
and
with
an
oxygen
tank
fastened
on
his
back,
Larry
dived
from
boats
into
the
middle
of
the
ocean.
Dangerous
areas
did
not
prevent
him
from
continuing
his
search.
Sometimes,
he
was
limited
to
a
cage
underwater
but
that
did
not
bother
him.
At
least,
he
was
still
able
to
take
photographs
of
the
underwater
creatures.
Larry’s
first
expedition
without
his
father
was
in
the
Cayman
Islands.
There
were
numerous
diving
spots
in
the
area
and
Larry
was
determined
to
visit
all
of
them
.Fortunately
for
him,
a
man
offered
to
take
him
around
the
different
spots
for
free.
Larry
didn’t
even
know
what
the
time
was,
how
many
spots
he
dived
into
or
how
many
photographs
he
had
taken.
The
diving
spots
afforded
such
a
wide
range
of
fish
and
sea
creatures
that
Larry
saw
more
than
thirty
varieties
of
creatures.
Larry
looked
at
his
daughter.
She
looked
as
excited
as
he
had
been
when
he
was
her
age.
He
hoped
she
would
be
able
to
continue
the
family
tradition.
Already,
she
looked
like
she
was
much
braver
than
had
been
then.
This
was
the
key
to
a
successful
underwater
expedition.
29.In

expedition
different
for
Larry?
A.His
daughter
had

up.

father
would
dive
with

daughter
would
dive
with
him.
30.What
can
be
inferred
from
Paragraph
2?
A.Larry
had
some
special
right.

liked
the

diving
suits.

had
to
buy
diving
equipment.
D.Ten-year-old
children
were
permitted
to
dive.
31.What
can
be
learned
from
the
underlined
sentence?

didn’t
wear
a

had
a
poor

his
daughter
to
do?

a
lot
of
photo
underwater.
D.Have
longer
hours
of
training.
C
Imagine
reading
a
story
titled
"Pursuing
Success."
That
would
be
an
inspiring
story,
wouldn't
it?
Maybe

but
maybe
not.
It
might
well
be
the
story
of
someone
whose
never-ending
chase
for
more
and
more
success
leaves
them
unsatisfied
and
incapable
of
happiness.
Though
it
isn't
a
conventional
medical
addiction,
for
many
people
success
has
addictive
properties.
Obviously,
success
goes
with
praise.
To
a
certain
extent,
praise
stimulates
the
neurotransmitter
dopamine
(神经递质多巴胺),which
contributes
to
all
addictive
behaviors.
The
desire
for
success
may
be
born
to
human
nature,
but
specialness
doesn't
come
cheap.
Success
is
tough
work,
and
it
requires
bearing
the
cost
of
losing.
In
the
1980s,
the
physician
Robert
Goldman
famously
found
that
more
than
half
of
ambitious
athletes
would
be
willing
to
take
a
drug
that
would
kill
them
in
five
years
in
exchange
for
winning
every
competition
they
entered.
Unfortunately,
success
is
endless.
The
goal
can't
be
satisfied;
most
people
never
feel
“successful”
enough.
The
high
only
lasts
a
day
or
two,
and
then
it's
on
to
the
next
goal.
Psychologists
call
this
the
hedonic
treadmill
(快乐跑步机现象),in
which
satisfaction
wears
off
almost
immediately
and
we
must
run
on
to
the
next
reward
to
avoid
the
feeling
of
falling
behind.
People
should
get
off
the
treadmill.
But
quitting
isn't
easy
for
addicts.
For
people
hooked
on
substances,
withdrawal
can
be
a
painful
experience,
both
physically
and
psychologically,
research
finds
that
depression
and
anxiety
are
common
among
outstanding
athletes
after
their
careers
end.
Olympic
athletes,
in
particular,
suffer
from
the

post-Olympic
blues.”
Just
like
wine,
success
in
and
of
itself
is
not
a
bad
thing.
Both
can
bring
fun
and
sweetness
to
life.
But
both
become
bossy
when
they
are
a
substitute
for

instead
of
a
complement
(补充物)to

the
relationships
and
love
that
should
be
at
the
center
of
our
lives.
28.What
does
praise
function
as
when
going
with
success?
A.It
has
nothing
to
do
with
success
addiction.
B.It
may
indirectly
cause
success
addiction.
C.It
always
brings
positive
results
of
success.
D.It
results
in
all
addictive
behaviors
except
success.
29.Why
did
the
author
mention
the
research
findings
of
Robert
Goldman?
A.To
show
success
is
a
tough
and
cruel
job.
B.To
stress
the
key
to
success
lies
in
efforts.
C.To
argue
that
athletes
deserve
more
rewards.
D.To
describe
the
routine
training
of
an
ordinary
athlete.
30.What
can
success
bring
to
a
success
addict
according
to
psychologists?
A.Satisfaction
and
a
sense
of
pride.
B.Anxiety
and
short-lived
happiness.
C.Relaxation
and
endless
motivation.
D.Confidence
and
permanent
happiness.
31.What
does
the
author
suggest
people
do
about
pursuing
success?
A.Stop
chasing
success.
B.Chase
success
at
any
cost.
C.Reflect
on
what
matters
in
life.
D.Give
up
love
and
relationships.
D
You
may
not
have
heard
of
Ashoka,
but
for
the
past
27
years,
this
association,
founded
by
Bill
Drayton,
has
fought
poverty
(贫穷)and
sickness,
promoted
education
and
encouraged
small
businesses.
To
support
these
worthy
causes,
Ashoka
provides
money
for
the
world’s
most
promising
"changemakers"
seeking
to
solve
urgent
problems
and
would
like
to
create
a
world
in
which
every
citizen
is
a
changemaker.
Drayton
believes
that
anyone
can
become
an
agent
for
change.
The
important
thing
is
to
simply
give
yourself
permission.
If
you
see
a
problem
that
you
care
about,
you
can
help
solve
it.
The
young
in
particular
are
willing
to
accept
this
concept
because
at
heart
every
child
wants
to
grow
into
a
happy,
healthy,
contributing
adult.
In
fact,
it
is
many
young
people’s
ambition
to
set
up
programmes
or
businesses
that
improve
social
conditions.
An
excellent
example
is
an
Ashoka
project
started
in
1995
in
Dhaka,
which
handled
the
rubbish
problem
facing
the
city,
helped
local
farmers
and
provided
an
income
for
poor
people
there
.
When
Masqsood
and
Iftekhar
began
to
study
the
problem
of
all
the
uncollected
rubbish
that
lay
in
Dhaka’s
streets,
attracting
rats
and
disease,
they
discovered
that
80%
of
it
was
natural
waste.
So
they
educated
the
poor
people
in
the
city
to
compost
(把……制成堆肥)this
waste.
They
knew
that
they
would
have
a
market
for
the
end
product
because
local
farmers
were
struggling
with
chemical
fertilisers
(化肥)
which
were
expensive
and
had
reduced
the
natural
minerals
in
the
soil
over
the
years.
At
first,
they
were
refused,
but
once
they
were
able
to
persuade
them
that
there
was
money
to
be
made
,
the
project
took
off.
In
2009
sales
were
$14,000.
Drayton
is
optimistic
that
in
ten
years
Ashoka
will
be
making
really
serious,
practical
progress
in
bringing
about
social
change
by
changing
the
way
we
look
at
economic
development.
32.Which
of
the
following
could
be
the
best
title
for
the
passage?
A.Rubbish
Problem
B.Businessmen
C.Social
Conditions
D.Changemakers
33.The
underlined
word
"them"
in
Paragraph
3
probably
refers
to"________".
A.the
poor
people
in
Dhaka
B.Masqsood
and
Iftekhar
C.Drayton
and
his
team
D.the
local
farmers
34.The
author’s
attitude
towards
Ashoka’s
program
can
be
described
as
________
A.changing
B.forgiving
C.cautious
D.positive
35.It
can
be
concluded
from
the
passage
that
anyone
can
become
a
changemaker
if
he________.
A.considers
Drayton’s
concept
B.gets
permission
from
Ashoka
C.tries

D.is

and

语言运用(共两节,满分45分)
第一节
(共20小题;每小题1.5分,满分30分)
When
I
left
a
company
and
started
my
own
business,
I
thought
I
had
it
all
figured
out.
When
I
made
the
decision
to
change
my
41
and
get
fit,
I
thought
I
was
on
the
right
track.
And
when
I
purchased
a
second
business,
I
assumed
I
was
doing
the
right
thing.
42
never
occurred
to
me.
I
was
all
about
making
things
happen.
During
the
next
three
years,
I
was
43
with
work.
But
the
busier
I
got,
the
less
I
44
to
accomplish.
I
even
felt
emotionally
and
physically
45
.
When
I
visited
the
doctor,
I
was
diagnosed(诊断)with
Graves'
disease,
a
disorder
with
46
like
physical
anxiety,
tiredness,
etc.
Dr.
Joy
advised
me
to
do
some
47
on
Graves'
disease
and
slow
down
a
little.
Following
the
doctor's
advice,
I
surfed
the
Internet
and
learned
Graves'
disease
is
often
caused
and
48
by
stress.
"How
is
your
stress
level?"
I
asked
myself.
The
following
day,
the

I
came
across

After
exchanging
50
,
Cindy

lot.
You'd

slow
down
and
relax
yourself."
I
smiled.
"I
have
to
51
that
some
of
those
projects
I'm

starting
to
get

"So,
stop
juggling
and
put
something
53
.
It's
OK
to
tell
people
'no'."
With
these
words,
she
went
away.
I
wrote
down
everything
I
was
juggling.
My
calendar
was
so
filled
with
duties
that
I
54
had
time
to
relax.
I
examined
the
55
.
It
was
clear
that
I
didn't
want
to
do
it
all.
So
I
56
to
have
white
space
on
my
schedule.
I

an
orange
highlighter(高光笔)
to
block
out
time
for
myself
to
58
and
focus
on
what's
important.
I've
learned
to
be
59
to
myself.
Every
day
I
spend
some
alone
time
doing
something
interesting
to
60
myself,
which
plays
a
big
part
in
my
well-being.

B
Larry
was
on
another
of
his
underwater
expeditions(探险)
but
this
time,
it
was
different.
He
decided
to
take
his
daughter
along
with
him.
She
was
only
ten
years
old.
This
would
be
her
first
trip
with
her
father
on
what
he
had
always
been
famous
for.
Larry
first
began
diving
when
he
was
his
daughter’s
age.
Similarly,
his
father
had
taken
him
along
on
one
of
his
expeditions.
Since
then,
he
had
never
looked
back.
Larry
started
out
by
renting
diving
suits
from
the
small
diving
shop
just
along
the
shore.
He
had
hated
them.
They
were
either
too
big
or
too
small.
Then,
there
was
the
instructor.
He
gave
him
a
short
lesson
before
allowing
him
into
the
water
with
his
father.
He
had
made
an
exception.
Larry
would
never
have
been
able
to
go
down
without
at
least
five
hours
of
theory
and
another
similar
number
of
hours
on
practical
lessons
with
a
guide.
Children
of
his
age
were
not
even
allowed
to
dive.
After
the
first
expedition,
Larry’s
later
diving
adventures
only
got
better
and
better.
There
was
never
a
dull
moment.
In
his
black
and
blue
suit
and
with
an
oxygen
tank
fastened
on
his
back,
Larry
dived
from
boats
into
the
middle
of
the
ocean.
Dangerous
areas
did
not
prevent
him
from
continuing
his
search.
Sometimes,
he
was
limited
to
a
cage
underwater
but
that
did
not
bother
him.
At
least,
he
was
still
able
to
take
photographs
of
the
underwater
creatures.
Larry’s
first
expedition
without
his
father
was
in
the
Cayman
Islands.
There
were
numerous
diving
spots
in
the
area
and
Larry
was
determined
to
visit
all
of
them
.Fortunately
for
him,
a
man
offered
to
take
him
around
the
different
spots
for
free.
Larry
didn’t
even
know
what
the
time
was,
how
many
spots
he
dived
into
or
how
many
photographs
he
had
taken.
The
diving
spots
afforded
such
a
wide
range
of
fish
and
sea
creatures
that
Larry
saw
more
than
thirty
varieties
of
creatures.
Larry
looked
at
his
daughter.
She
looked
as
excited
as
he
had
been
when
he
was
her
age.
He
hoped
she
would
be
able
to
continue
the
family
tradition.
Already,
she
looked
like
she
was
much
braver
than
had
been
then.
This
was
the
key
to
a
successful
underwater
expedition.
29.In
what
way
was
this
expedition
different
for
Larry?
A.His
daughter
had
grown
up.
B.He
had
become
a
famous
diver.
C.His
father
would
dive
with
him.
D.His
daughter
would
dive
with
him.
30.What
can
be
inferred
from
Paragraph
2?
A.Larry
had
some
special
right.
B.Larry
liked
the
rented
diving
suits.
C.Divers
had
to
buy
diving
equipment.
D.Ten-year-old
children
were
permitted
to
dive.
31.What
can
be
learned
from
the
underlined
sentence?
A.Larry
didn’t
wear
a
watch.
B.Larry
was
not
good
at
math.
C.Larry
had
a
poor
memory.
D.Larry
enjoyed
the
adventure.
32.What
did
Larry
expect
his
daughter
to
do?
A.Become
a
successful
diver.
B.Make
a
good
diving
guide.
C.Take
a
lot
of
photo
underwater.
D.Have
longer
hours
of
training.
【答案】
本文是记叙文。文章讲述了水下探险爱好者Larry的成长故事和他对自己女儿的期望。
24.D
细节理解题。根据第一段“Larry
was
on
another
of
his
underwater
expeditions(探险)
but
this
time,
it
was
different.
He
decided
to
take
his
daughter
along
with
him.(拉里又进行了一次水下探险,但这次不同。他决定带女儿一起去)”可知,这次水下探险与以往不同,他要带女儿一起下水。故选D项。
25.A
推理判断题。根据第二段“He
gave
him
a
short
lesson
before
allowing
him
into
the
water
with
his
father.
He
had
made
an
exception.

were
not
even
allowed
to
dive.(教练给他上了简短的一课,然后让他和父亲一起下水。他破例了。如果拉里没有至少5个小时的理论知识和类似时间的有指导的实践课程,他是不能潜水的。他这个年龄的孩子甚至不允许潜水)”可推知,在未完成足够时间的理论学习和实践的情况下,10岁的Larry本
来是不能潜水的,但因为他爸爸的原因,在他得到了一些特权,跟着爸爸一起下了水。故选A项。
26.D
推理判断题。根据第四段“Larry
didn’t
even
know
what
the
time
was,
how
many
spots
he
dived
into
or
how
many
photographs
he
had
taken.(拉里甚至不知道什么时候,不知道他潜入了多少地方,也不知道他拍了多少照片)”可推知,关于潜水,Larry已经记不清时间、地点和拍了多少照片,说明他非常喜欢从事这项运动,喜欢这种冒险。故选D项。
27.A
细节理解题。根据第五段“He
hoped
she
would
be
able
to
continue
the
family
tradition.
(他希望她能继续这个家族传统)”可知,Larry希望他的女儿能继续这个家族传统,成为她爸爸和爷爷一样成功的潜水员。故选A项。

Imagine
reading
a
story
titled
"Pursuing
Success."
That
would
be
an
inspiring
story,
wouldn't
it?
Maybe

but
maybe
not.
It
might
well
be
the
story
of
someone
whose
never-ending
chase
for
more
and
more
success
leaves
them
unsatisfied
and
incapable
of
happiness.
Though
it
isn't
a
conventional
medical
addiction,
for
many
people
success
has
addictive
properties.
Obviously,
success
goes
with
praise.
To
a
certain
extent,
praise
stimulates
the
neurotransmitter
dopamine
(神经递质多巴胺),which
contributes
to
all
addictive
behaviors.
The
desire
for
success
may
be
born
to
human
nature,
but
specialness
doesn't
come
cheap.
Success
is
tough
work,
and
it
requires
bearing
the
cost
of
losing.
In
the
1980s,
the
physician
Robert
Goldman
famously
found
that
more
than
half
of
ambitious
athletes
would
be
willing
to
take
a
drug
that
would
kill
them
in
five
years
in
exchange
for
winning
every
competition
they
entered.
Unfortunately,
success
is
endless.
The
goal
can't
be
satisfied;
most
people
never
feel
“successful”
enough.
The
high
only
lasts
a
day
or
two,
and
then
it's
on
to
the
next
goal.
Psychologists
call
this
the
hedonic
treadmill
(快乐跑步机现象),in
which
satisfaction
wears
off
almost
immediately
and
we
must
run
on
to
the
next
reward
to
avoid
the
feeling
of
falling
behind.
People
should
get
off
the
treadmill.
But
quitting
isn't
easy
for
addicts.
For
people
hooked
on
substances,
withdrawal
can
be
a
painful
experience,
both
physically
and
psychologically,
research
finds
that
depression
and
anxiety
are
common
among
outstanding
athletes
after
their
careers
end.
Olympic
athletes,
in
particular,
suffer
from
the

post-Olympic
blues.”
Just
like
wine,
success
in
and
of
itself
is
not
a
bad
thing.
Both
can
bring
fun
and
sweetness
to
life.
But
both
become
bossy
when
they
are
a
substitute
for

instead
of
a
complement
(补充物)to

the
relationships
and
love
that
should
be
at
the
center
of
our

28.What
does
praise
function
as
when
going
with
success?
A.It
has
nothing
to
do
with
success
addiction.
B.It
may
indirectly
cause
success
addiction.
C.It
always
brings
positive
results
of
success.
D.It
results
in
all
addictive
behaviors
except
success.
29.Why
did
the
author
mention
the
research
findings
of
Robert
Goldman?
A.To
show
success
is
a
tough
and
cruel
job.
B.To
stress
the
key
to
success
lies
in
efforts.
C.To
argue
that
athletes
deserve
more
rewards.
D.To
describe
the

of
an

30.What
can
success
bring
to
a
success
addict
according
to
psychologists?
A.Satisfaction
and
a
sense
of
pride.
B.Anxiety
and
short-lived
happiness.
C.Relaxation
and
endless
motivation.
D.Confidence
and
permanent
happiness.
31.What
does
the
author
suggest
people
do
about
pursuing
success?
A.Stop
chasing
success.
B.Chase
success
at
any
cost.
C.Reflect
on
what
matters
in
life.
D.Give
up
love
and
relationships.
【答案】
这是一篇议论文。文章主要论述了成功对人们的影响,对许多人来说,成功有上瘾的特性,但成功是艰苦的工作,它要求承担失败的代价,而且成功还是无止境的,带来的快乐却很短暂;对此,作者建议人们应该思考自己生活中真正重要的东西是什么。
28.B
细节理解题。由第二段中的“Obviously,
success
goes
with
praise.
To
a
certain
extent,
praise
stimulates
the
neurotransmitter
dopamine
(神经递质多巴胺),which
contributes
to

29.A
推理判断题。由第三段中的“Success
is
tough
work,
and
it
requires
bearing
the
cost
of
losing.
In
the
1980s,
the
physician

Goldman发现了一个著名的发现,超过半数雄心勃勃的运动员愿意服用一种药物,这种药物将在五年内杀死他们,以换取他们参加的每一场比赛都能获胜。),可推知本段列举Robert
Goldman的研究是为了说明成功是一项艰巨而残酷的工作。故选A项。
30.B
细节理解题。由第四段中的“The
goal
can't
be

most

people

31.C
推理判断题。由最后一段“Just
like

is
not
a

D
You
may
not
have
heard
of
Ashoka,
but
for
the
past
27
years,
this
association,
founded
by
Bill
Drayton,
has
fought
poverty
(贫穷)and
sickness,
promoted
education
and
encouraged
small
businesses.
To
support
these
worthy
causes,
Ashoka
provides
money
for
the
world’s
most
promising
"changemakers"
seeking
to
solve
urgent
problems
and
would
like
to
create
a
world
in
which
every
citizen
is
a
changemaker.
Drayton
believes
that
anyone
can
become
an
agent
for
change.
The
important
thing
is
to
simply
give
yourself
permission.
If
you
see
a
problem
that
you
care
about,
you
can
help
solve
it.
The
young
in
particular
are
willing
to
accept
this
concept
because
at
heart
every
child
wants
to
grow
into
a
happy,
healthy,
contributing
adult.
In
fact,
it
is
many
young
people’s
ambition
to
set
up
programmes
or
businesses
that
improve
social
conditions.
An
excellent
example
is
an
Ashoka
project
started
in
1995
in
Dhaka,
which
handled
the
rubbish
problem
facing
the
city,
helped
local
farmers
and
provided
an
income
for
poor
people
there
.
When
Masqsood
and
Iftekhar
began
to
study
the
problem
of
all
the
uncollected
rubbish
that
lay
in
Dhaka’s
streets,
attracting
rats
and
disease,
they
discovered
that
80%
of
it
was
natural
waste.
So
they
educated
the
poor
people
in
the
city
to
compost
(把……制成堆肥)this
waste.
They
knew
that
they
would
have
a
market
for
the
end
product
because
local
farmers
were
struggling
with
chemical
fertilisers
(化肥)
which
were
expensive
and
had
reduced
the
natural
minerals
in
the
soil
over
the
years.
At
first,
they
were
refused,
but
once
they

【答案】
这是一篇说明文。本文主要介绍了Bill
Drayton创立了Ashoka这一机构,向那些希望解决迫切问题的“changemakers”提供资金。并具体介绍了在1995年Ashoka在Dhaka解决垃圾问题所取得的成就。
32.D
主旨大意题。通读全文可知,本文主要介绍了为消除贫困和疾病,提升教育,鼓励小企业,Bill
Drayton创立了Ashoka这一机构,向那些希望解决迫切问题的“变革者”提供资金,再结合第一段“Ashoka
provides
money
for
the
world's
most
promising
"changemakers"
seeking
to
solve
(解决)
urgent
problems
and
would
like
to
create
a
world
in
which
every
citizen
is
a
changemaker.(
Ashoka为世界上最有希望的寻求解决紧迫问题的“变革者”提供资金,并希望创造一个每个公民都是变革者的世界)”可知,Bill
Drayton与其创立的机构Ashoka的目的是为潜在的“changemakers”提供帮助,让他们去“change”这个世界,“changemakers”正是文章的主题,最佳标题。故选D项。
33.A
词义猜测题。根据第三段“When
Masqsood
and
Iftekhar
began
to
study
the
problem
of
all
the
uncollected
rubbish
that
lay
in
Dhaka’s
streets,
attracting
rats
and
disease,
they
discovered
that
80%
of
it
was
natural
waste.
So
they
educated
the
poor
people
in
the
city
to
compost
this
waste(当Masqsood和Iftekhar开始研究Dhaka街道上那些吸引老鼠和疾病的未收集垃圾的问题时,他们发现80%的垃圾都是自然垃圾。所以他们教导城市里的穷人把这些垃圾制成堆肥)”和“At
first,
they
were
refused,
but
once
they
were
able
to
persuade
them
that
there
was
money
to
be
made
,
the
project
took
off.
(起初,他们被拒绝了,但一旦他们能够说服them赚钱,项目就开始了)”可推知,所以这里them指的是上文中的Masqsood和Iftekhar
要去了教导的“the
poor
people
in
the
city”。故选A项。
34.D
推理判断题。在文章中,作者介绍了Bill
Drayton创立了Ashoka的目的,并具体介绍了Ashoka在1995年解决Dhaka垃圾问题所取得的成功,另外,最后一段“Drayton
is
optimistic
that
in
ten
years
Ashoka
will
be
making
really
serious,
practical
progress
in
bringing
about
social
change
by
changing
the
way
we
look
at
economic
development.(Drayton乐观地认为,在未来十年,Ashoka将通过改变我们看待经济发展的方式,在带来社会变革方面取得真正严肃、实际的进展)”中,Bill
Drayton对Ashoka的前景进行了展望,综上可以看出,作者对于Ashoka这一项目的介绍是正向的,持乐观态度。故选D项。
35.C
推理判断题。根据第二段“Drayton
believes
that
anyone
can
become
an
agent
for
change.
The
important
thing
is
to
simply
give
yourself
permission.If
you
see
a
problem
that
you
care
about,
you
can
help
solve
it.(Drayton认为,任何人都可以成为变革的推动者。重要的是给自己许可。如果你看到一个你关心的问题,你可以帮助解决它)
”和“In
fact,
it
is
many
young
people’s
ambition
to
set
up
programmes
or
businesses
that
improve
social
conditions.(
事实上,许多年轻人的雄心是建立项目或企业来改善社会条件)”可推知,任何人,只要想解决看到的问题,想要改善社会条件,都可以在为“changemaker
”。故选C项。

本文是一篇新闻报道,介绍了中国将尽最大努力加强与世界卫生组织的合作,并提供援助,帮助有需要的国家抗击新冠肺炎疫情。
61.考查代词。句意:中国将尽最大努力加强与世界卫生组织的合作,为受新冠肺炎疫情严重冲击国家的迫切需要提供援助。do
one's
best
to...是固定短语,表示“尽某人的最大的努力去做……”,分析句意可知,中国是尽它的最大努力去加强与世界卫生组织的合作,用形容词性物主代词its,表示“它的”。故填its。
62.考查副词。句意:中国将尽最大努力加强与世界卫生组织的合作,为受新冠肺炎疫情严重冲击国家的迫切需要提供援助。根据句意可知,severe修饰动词hit,应用副词形式severely(严重地)。故填severely。
63.考查非谓语动词。句意:中国在力所能及的范围内向巴基斯坦、日本等一些国家提供了检测试剂盒,并与许多国家分享了预防和治疗方法。分析句子可知,include是非谓语动词,作后置定语修饰some
countries,与其逻辑主语some
countries之间为主动关系,应用现在分词,表示主动。故填including。
64.考查名词。句意:中国在力所能及的范围内向巴基斯坦、日本等一些国家提供了检测试剂盒,并与许多国家分享了预防和治疗方法。根据句意和常识可知,预防和治疗新冠肺炎的“方法(approach)”有很多,是复数概念。故填approaches。
65.考查冠词。句意:在韩国确诊病例持续增加的情况下,它成了除中国外世界上感染人数最多的国家,中国政府将尽快向韩国提供急需的医疗物资。the
number
of...为固定短语,表示“……的数量”,句中指“确诊病例的数量”。故填the。
66.考查定语从句。句意:在韩国确诊病例持续增加的情况下,它成了除中国外世界上感染人数最多的国家,中国政府将尽快向韩国提供急需的医疗物资。分析句子可知,空格处为非限制性定语从句,修饰先行词the
country,指物,关系词代替先行词在定语从句中作主语,应使用关系代词which引导该定语从句。故填which。
67.考查动词时态和语态。句意:截至目前,中国境外报告的冠状病毒病例超过3534万例,其中韩国、意大利、伊朗和日本是疫情最严重的国家。分析句子可知,report(报告)是句中谓语动词,与主语more
than
35,340,000
coronavirus
cases之间是被动关系,句中有时间状语So
far(到目前为止),应使用现在完成时态,又因主语more
than
35,340,000
coronavirus
cases是复数名词,所
以谓语动词也应使用复数形式。综上,谓语应用现在完成时的被动语态,复数形式。故填have
been
reported。
68.考查非谓语动词和固定短语。句意:面对疫情,各国应同舟共济,加强联系,携手构建人类命运共同体。be
faced
with...为固定短语,表示“面对……”,该短语用作非谓语动词时,去掉be动词,保留faced
with...,句中是非谓语动词,“faced
with
the
epidemic”作时间状语,另外,句首单词首字母大写。故填Faced。
69.考查介词。句意:中国也不会缺席,正在考虑向世界卫生组织捐款抗击疫情。be
absent
from...为固定短语,表示“缺席”。故填from。
70.考查谓语动词。句意:中国也不会缺席,正在考虑向世界卫生组织捐款抗击疫情。分析句子可知,动词fight是非谓语动词,与其逻辑主语China之间是主动关系,且(fight)
the
virus是is
considering
donating
money
to
the
WHO的目的,所以应使用动词不定式作目的状语。故填to
fight。

这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述作者因为误解和母亲发生矛盾,过后感到后悔请求父母原谅的故事。
1.考查不可数名词。句意:今天早上,我在我的卧室里上网,为我的学习寻找一些信息。句中information
“信
息”
是不可数名词,没有复数形式。故将informations改为information。
2.考查语态。句意:突然,妈妈出现了,冲我大喊大叫,以为我在玩电脑游戏。句中动词短语turn
up“出现”是行为动词,在句中作谓语。此处不表被动,不与系动词连用。故去掉turned前was。
3.
考查非谓语动词。句意:同上。本句已有谓语turned
up
和shouted
at,所以此处think需用非谓语动词,think与主语之间是主动关系,所以此处需用现在分词作伴随状语。故将thought改为thinking。
4.考查动词时态。句意:我很生气,和她争论起来。此处表示过去发生的事,与and前的was时态一致也用过去时,故将argue
改为argued。
5.
考查副词。句意:父亲批评我的粗鲁行为,我感到很烦躁,因此假装听不见。结合句意可知,此处可以用连词and后前后句并列,或用副词therefore表示结果。故去掉however或将however改为therefore。
6.考查代词。句意:我母亲真的很受伤,但她仍然试图原谅我。此处指My
mother代词用she,故将he改为she。
7.考查固定短语。句意:我的父母很关心我,但我伤害了他们。be
concerned
about“关心,挂念”是固定短语,介词用about。故将on改为about.
8.考查名词或动名词。句意:我将乞求我母亲的原谅。此处指请求母亲的原谅,my
mother’s后用名词或动名词,故将forgive
改为forgiveness/
forgiving。
9.考查情态动词。句意:我认为无论发生什么事,我都应该尊重我的父母,而不是只想到自己,总是发脾气。表示“应该”要用should+动词原形或ought
to+动词原形,故在ought后加to或将ought改为should.
10.考查动名词。句意:同上。此处和and前的thinking并列,作介词of的宾语也用动名词形式。故将lose
改为losing。

【答案】
Hard
Work
Or
Opportunity
Sometimes,
a
lucky
person
may
achieve
great
success
without
corresponding
efforts
because
of
a
good
opportunity,
while
other
people
may
have
to
work
very
hard
before
accomplishing
a
tiny
achievement.
However,
I
firmly
believe
opportunity
favors
those
who
are
well
prepared
by
working
hard.
As
we
all
know,
it
is
hard
work
that
is
fundamental
to
any
achievement.
If
we
do
not
have
proper
opportunity
in
a
certain
period
of
time,
we
may
nourish
one
by
working
hard
sooner
or
later.
However,
if
you
do
have
an
opportunity
out
of
luck,
you
maybe
not
well
prepared
to
grasp
that
opportunity
to
achieve
anything
and
facing
the
opportunity,
you
may
simply
be
at
a
loss
what
to
do.
To
sum
up,
working
hard
is
more
essential
than
opportunity
to
success.
