Unit 1 Our School
Lesson 2
教学目的和要求:
词汇：first,second,third,fourth,fifth, sixth,seventh,eighth,ninth,tenth,
eleventh,twelfth及其缩写形式。
句型：When is your birthday My birthday is Augest 2nd.
功能：运用所学句型询问他人的生日，并能作简要回答。
教具准备:
1.卡片：
(1)first, second,third,fourth,fifth, sixth,seventh,eighth,ninth,tenth, eleventh,
twelfth。
(2)January,February,March,Apirl,May,June,July,Augest,September,October
November,December.
2.生日卡。
3.录音带，录音机
教学步骤与方法建议:
热身运动
1.师生互致问候。
T:Good morning/afternoon,boys and girls.
S:Good morning,Ms./Miss/Mr…
…
2.唱英文歌曲：Happy Birthday to You
二、复习导入
1.复习序数词，引出序数词的缩写形式的教学。
2.问与答：Where is our school library/computer room/…
It’s on the……floor。
3.请几位学生介绍自己家所在的楼层。
4.先复习表示月份的12个单词，然后教师祟一张表示某个月份的卡片
一张表示某个序数词（缩写形式）的卡片，操练月份和日期的表达，
如：January 2nd等。
5.揭示课题。
教师说：“今天是9月5日。Today is September 5th。”接着板书
September 5th，接着说：“We are going to learn Lesson 2。”同时板书课
题Lesson 2并领读。
三、教授新课
1.句型教学。
教师说：“My birthday is September 5th。”接着问某个学生：“When
is your birthday ”引导学生使用句型My birthday is…教师板书这两个句
子，并引导学生进行多次这样的问与答练习。
教师出示写有名字、生日日期的12张卡片，如：
JackJuly4th WangTaoAugest2nd MissGaoSeptember8th LiMingOctober11th BillNovember7th PeterDecember5th
先让学生读懂卡片上的内容。然后再把卡片发给学生，并高他们说明，
他们拿到哪一张就就扮演哪一张卡片上的角色。
例如：教师问拿到第一张卡片的学生：
T：What’s your name
S: My name is Lily
T：When is your birthday
S: My birthday is January 9th
接着指着另一位学生，要求全班问：What’s your name When is
your birthday 直至拿到卡片的学生全部问过一遍。
2.教师说：“I love my father and mother.My father’s birthday is…,My
mother’s birthday is…” 接着问学生：“When is your father’s/ mother’s
birthday ”要求学生用句型My father’s/ mother’s birthday is…来回答。
3.课文教学。
教师播放录音，要求学生认真听，理解大意，并能大声地读出表示
生日的句子。
教师播放第二遍录音，请学生听音模仿跟读。
教师再播放录音数次，采用分角色、分组、分男女生、个别跟读等
方法进行操练。
教师根据课文内容提问：Whose birthday is Augest 2nd /February 3rd/
September 7th /December 8th 请学生回答。
四、巩固提高
1.完成课本第6页的Ask and answer
教师先帮助学生看懂其中的ID card(身份卡)，然后引导他们进行对
话练习。
对话内容参考如下：
卡片 1 A:What’s your name B:Nancy.
A:When is your birthday B:October 3th
A:How old are you B:I’m 14
卡片 2 A:What’s your name B:Peter.
A:When is your birthday B: November 9th
A:How old are you B:I’m 10
卡片3 A:What’s your name B:Bill
A:When is your birthday B: Apirl 6th
A:How old are you B:I’m 8
2.将学生分成四至六人一组用When is your birthday 对周围的同
学进行调查，并做好记录，然后每组派代表上台汇报。
3.完成课本第7页的Liston and circle the right answer.
4.完成课本第8页的
先让英语程度较好的学生说一说，再要求全班学生写下来，教师
提醒学生仔细观察。
五、课后作业
1.完成课本第8页的自我评价。
2.听录音，熟读课文。
