Ever since I began to learn English, I have dreamed of learning native English in the native country. After I graduated from college, I made up my mind to work hard to get the opportunity (chance). Then for more than ten years’ time, I hadn’t changed my mind. I was so determined that someone said I was really stubborn. But they still couldn’t persuade me to give it up. Finally in 1996, the time came. I passed the strict test. I was sent to the U.S.A by the Chinese Educational Ministry（教育部）and worked there for one year.
During the one year’s stay in America, I planned my schedule and travelled around the country besides working. I organized the trip carefully. I went through the valleys, mountains and rivers. The journey was really fantastic and unforgettable.
From the experience above, I understand one thing- that is you shouldn’t give in to any difficulties when you make and carry out your plan. Where there is a will, there is a way. There should be hope in our hearts all the time.
