在朗读英语句子时要注意句子的语音语调。语调主要有两种:升调与降调。升调用“↑”表示,降调用“↓”表示。英语句子升降调的基本规律:(1)陈述句读降调;(2)一般疑问句读升调;(3)特殊疑问句读降调;(4)选择疑问句前升后降;(5)反意疑问句前降后升,把握较大时前后都降;(6)感叹句读降调;(7)祈使句表命令时读降调,表请求时读升调;(8)句子较长,中间有意群划分时,意群停顿时用升调,最后一个意群用降调。
