Smartphones,tablets
and
smart
watches
are
banned(禁止)
at
school
for
all
children
under
15
in
France.
Under
the
ban
students
are
not
able
to
use
their
phones
at
all
during
school
hours,
including
meal
breaks.
“I
think
it’s
a
good
thing.
School
is
not
about
being
on
your
phone,”Paris
mum
Marie-Caroline
Madeleine
told
AFP.
“It’s
hard
with
kids.
You
can’t
control
what
they
see
and
that’s
one
of
the
things
that
worries
me
as
a
parent.”
There
is
no
law
like
this
in
Australia,
but
some
Australian
schools
have
banned
phones.
McKinnon
Secondary
School
in
Victoria
introduced
a
total
ban
in
February
and
Principal
Pitsa
Binnion
said
this
has
been
a
success.
McKinnon
students
still
have
a
Chromebook
to
use
in
every
class
for
day-to-day
learning
but
they’re
not
allowed
to
use
social
media.
Ms
Binnion
said
at
first
“teachers
cheered
and
students
moaned(抱怨),”but
now
they
re
seeing
the
positives.
“They
come
to
school
and
they’re
not
allowed
to
use
phones
at
all
during
the
school
day,
including
lunch
breaks,”she
said.
“It’s
been
wonderful
in
terms
of
students
communicating
with
each
other
at
lunchtime
and
not
looking
at
their
screens,”she
said.
Ms
Binnion
also
leads
by
example
and
doesn’t
use
her
mobile
phone
in
school.
“I
think
anyone
can
do
it
if
we’ve
done
it.”
Not
everyone
agrees
with
the
bans.
Western
Sydney
University
technology
researcher
Dr
Joanne
Orlando
wrote
in
online
magazine
The
Conversation
earlier
this
year
that
Australia
should
not
ban
phones
in
schools
because
it’s
important
to
educate
kids
to
live
in
the
age
they
are
raised
in.
24.
Why
did
Madeleine
welcome
the
ban?
A.
School
is
for
studying.
B.
Kids
behave
badly
nowadays.
C.
Teachers
find
it
hard
to
control
kids.
D.
Her
kids
depend
too
much
on
phones.
25.
What
can
we
learn
about
the
ban
in
McKinnon
Secondary
School?
A.
Some
teachers
were
against
it
at
first.
B.
Students
can
now
see
the
good
of
the
ban.
C.
Students
can
use
their
phones
at
lunch
breaks.
D.
Teachers
have
stopped
using
phones
at
school
as
well.
26.
What
does
the
underlined
word“Chromebook”in
paragraph
5
probably
refer
to?
A.
A
book.
B.
A
notebook.
C.
A
kind
of
computer.
D.
A
learning
website.
27.
What
does
Dr
Joanne
Orlando
think
of
banning
phones
in
schools?
A.
It
will
disconnect
parents
and
kids.
B.
It
will
prevent
kids
being
tech-minded.
C.
It
will
cause
kids
to
communicate
less.
D.
It
will
make
education
go

Girls
should
take
part
in
competitive
sport
to
build
confidence,
and
the
leaders
of
a
group
of
girls’
schools
will
argue
this
week.
Helen
Fraser,
director
of
the
Girls’
Day
School
Trust(GDST),will
tell
the
group
that
sport
can
help
girls
deal
with
failure.
“All
girls,
not
just
the
sporty
ones,
should
take
physical
exercise,”Ms
Fraser
says.
Research
that
girls
are
far
less
active
than
boys
is
worrying,she
argues.
Ms
Fraser
will
tell
the
group
that
she
supports“sport
for
all”.“That’s
why
I
love
it
when
our
schools
have
A,
B,
C
and
D
teams
and
beyond,”she
says.
The
GDST
draws
on
research
from
the
Women’s
Sport
and
Fitness
Foundation
which
suggests
only
a
quarter
of
girls
in
England
meet
basic
levels
of
activity
each
week.
One
in
five
girls
do
no
activity
at
all,
twice
the
proportion(比例)
of
boys,
the
research
suggests.
Ms
Fraser
says
other
research
suggests
that
more
than
80%
of
women
business
leaders
played
sports
while
growing
up.
She
uses
the
examples
of
former
US
Secretary
of
State
Condoleezza
Rice,
who
once
was
a
skater
and
tennis
player,
and
the
head
of
the
International
Monetary
Fund,
Christine
Lagarde,
who
was
in
the
French
national
swimming
team.
Ms
Fraser
says
Olympic
medallists
like
Jessica
Ennis
and
Katherine
Grainger
are
excellent
role
models
for
young
women
but
says
women’s
sport
needs
more
money
and
more
news
reports.
Valerie
Dunsford,
head
of
Sheffield
High
School
for
Girls,
part
of
GDST,
said
it
was
important
to
offer
a
large
number
of
sports
to
attract
different
types
of
girls.“Not
everyone
wants
to
be
out
playing
the
hockey(曲棍球),”said
Ms
Dunsford.
28.
Which
of
the
following
ideas
would
Ms
Fraser
agree
with?
A.
Boys
are
born
to
be
sport
lovers.
B.
Girls
are
less
confident
than
boys.
C.
More
should
be
done
to
make
girls
do
sports.
D.
Those
taking
part
in
the
sport
are
always
successes.
29.
What’s
the
proportion
of
boys
who
never
take
exercise?
A.
1/10.
B.
1/5.
C.
1/4.
D.
2/5.
30.
Ms
Fraser
mentions
those
famous
women
to
show
______.
A.
hard
work
will
pay
off
B.
it’s
not
easy
to
be
great
C.
sport
can
help
girls
to
succeed
D.
it’s
necessary
to
balance
work
and
sport
31.
What’s
the
purpose
of
the
text?
A.
To
explain
the
key
to
success.
B.
To
show
the
importance
of
sport.
C.
To
introduce
more
sports
to
girls.
D.
To
encourage
more
girls
to
do
sports.
D
Few
things
are
more
satisfying
than
sleeping
in
on
weekends.
Though
the
extra
sleep
may
improve
your
mood,
it
doesn’t
appear
to
improve
your
health.
Because
a
new
study
shows
that
so-called“recovery
sleep”cannot
reset
the
body’s
metabolic
clock(代谢钟)
and
may
actually
lead
to
some
serious
problems.
“Sleep
loss
can
impact
our
body’
s
systems.
It
can
increase
our
risk
of
heart
disease
and
cause
weight
gain,”says
Christopher
Depner,
an
assistant
professor
at
the
University
of
Colorado,
Boulder.
“A
lot
of
us
turn
off
the
alarm
on
Saturdays
and
Sundays.
But
we
go
right
back
to
burning
the
candle
at
both
ends
once
the
workweek
begins.
So
we
are
really
interested
in
how
the
sort
of
cycle
of
insufficient(不充分的)
sleep,
weekend
recovery
sleep,insufficient
sleep,
can
impact
your
risk
of
metabolic
disease.”says
Depner.
He
and
his
colleagues
invited
volunteers
to
a
nine-day
snooze-
a-thon(睡眠马拉松).
One
group
was
allowed
to
get
a
full
night’s
sleep.
The
next
was
kept
to
just
five
hours
every
night.
And
the
third
group
was
restricted
to
five
hours
of
shut-eye
during
the
workweek,
allowed
as
much
sleep
as
they
wanted
over
the
weekend,
and
then
back
to
five
hours
for
the
last
couple
of
days.
“The
study
shows
that
when
volunteers
maintained
insufficient
short
sleep
schedules
during
a
normal
work
or
school
week,they
ate
more
than
they
needed
and
this
led
to
weight
gain.
And
when
they
were
eating
more,
they
actually
ate
more
after-dinner
snacks,”says
Ken
Wright,
a
professor
at
U.
C.
Boulder.
But
even
more
surprisingly,
sleeping
in
on
the
weekend
doesn’t
help-and
even
makes
things
worse.
“After
the
weekend,
when
they
went
back
to
get
ting
insufficient
sleep
during
the
work
or
school
week,
we
found
that
their
blood
sugar
regulation
was
reduced.
And
this
is
not
something
we
had
found
in
people
who
maintained
insufficient
sleep
schedules.
So
it’s
possible
that
this
is
a
worsening
of
the
body
‘s
ability
to
regulate
blood
sugar
for
those
specific
tissues
after
the
weekend.”says
Wright.
So
make
a
date
with
a
pillow.
And
trade
the
sweets
for
sweet
dreams.

might
need
more
sleep
to

with
a
Know-It-All
Friend
Sometimes
having
a
friend
who
thinks
she
knows
everything
and
always
offers
her
advice
can
really
make
one
upset.
But
with
some
ways
to
deal
with
the
know-it-all,
you
can
easily
deal
with
that
friend.
Also
a
know-it-all
friend
often
acts
as
if
she
were
the
best.
36
Try
to
understand.
There
may
be
a
reason
why
your
know-it-all
friend
does
so.
Maybe
she
has
low
self-esteem(自尊),
or
she’s
not
happy
in
her
life.
37
This
tip
is
very
important,
especially
if
the
know-it-all
is
your
best
friend.
Give
her
a
little
attention.

to
deal
with
a
know-it-all
friend.
Show
some
enthusiasm
for
what
the
know-it-all
says
in
order
to
give
her
enough
attention.
38
Or
this
can
lead
to
her
giving
more
advice.
39
Often
the
know-it-all
friend
can
say
some
not-so-nice
things,
and
these
things
are.
usually
about
you.
Instead
of
thinking
that
something
is
not
okay
with
you,
never
take
her
comments
and
advice
seriously.
If
you
do
so,
you
may
really
begin
to
become
unnecessarily
anxious.
Have
a
talk
with
her.
If
you
are
tired
of
her
advice,
come
right
out
with
it.
Speak
politely
and
don’t
scold
her.
Try
to
find
a
good
time
to
talk
to
her.
40
Tell
your
know-it-all
friend
how
it
makes
you
feel
and
maybe
she
will
respond
well.
A.
Feel
free
to
ignore
her
all
the
time.
B.
Don’t
take
her
comments
seriously.
C.
However,
make
sure
you
don’t
overdo
it.
.
D.
Try
not
to
go
to
those
places
where
you
think
she’ll
be.
E.
Try
to
understand
her
and
understand
why
she
acts
this
way.
F.
If
you
have
such
a
friend,
here
are
a
few
tips
on
dealing
with
her.
G.
You
need
to
know
what
you
re
going
to
say
and
be
sure
to
only
use
kind
words.

语言知识运用(共两节,满分45分)
第一节(共20小题;每小题1.5分,满分30分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后各题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
I
became
a
gardener
when
I
was
twelve.
My
early
41
of
gardening
may
not
have
originated
from
my
love
for
nature.
It
was
to
42
my
parents.
At
that
time,
we
had
a
big
yard
in
which
a
beautiful
maple
tree
stood.
But
my
mother
often
looked
with
43
at
this
work
of
natural
art.
Those
golden
leaves
seemed
like
tons
of
rubbish
to
her,“something
else
to
44
!”
Seeing
the
neighbors
busy
with
gardening,my
father
even
thought
it
a
waste
of
time.
At
that
age,
I
always
did
something
45
to
whatever
my
parents
did!
If
gardening
were
something
they
found
46
,
I
would
plant
a
garden!
I
planted
some
lily(百合花)
seeds
in
the
yard.
But
they
failed
to
47
.
I
continued
to
plant
sunflower
seeds
and
roses.
Wild
48
joy,
I
found
the
first
rose
bloom.
One
by
one,
the
flowers
bloomed(开花)
their
heads
off.
49
,
I
was
touched
by
this
land
of
wonder.
50
,
my
parents
showed
no
interest
in
my
garden.
My
father
even
51
at
me
because
he
found
it
was
52
to
move
around
my
garden
to
the
driveway.
To
my
mother’s
53
,I
put
in
her
vase
my
real
roses
which,
in
her
eyes,
were
merely
weeds(野草)
54
flowers.
Regardless
of
their
55
,
I
kept
on
planting
my
garden
and
56
to
enjoy
the
pleasure
of
gardening.
Plants
make
such
good
companions:
they
breathe,
they
bloom,
they
57
to
care
and
love.
It
has
been
many
years
since
I
made
my
first
garden
out
of
my
desire
to
58
my
parent.
Today
I
become
known
as
Mrs.
Greenthumbs,
teaching
gardening
and
hosting
a
gardening
show,
which
makes
my
parents
feel
very
59
.
And
now
I
could
say
it
is
my
affection
for
60
that
makes
me
a
real
gardener.

第二节(共10小题;每小题1.5分,满分15分)
阅读下面短文,在空白处填入1个适当的单词或括号内单词的正确形式。
It
is
a
great
61
(true)
that
life
is
difficult.
Once
we
really
understand
and
accept
it,
then
life
is
no
longer
difficult.
62
,
most
of
us
do
not
fully
see
it.
They
just
complain
about
their
problems
and
difficulties
as
if
life
should
be
easy.
What
makes
life
difficult
is
that
the
process
of
facing
and
solving
problems
63
(be)
a
really
painful
one.
Problems,
64
(base)
on
their
nature,
cause
sadness
or
regret
or
anger
or
fear.
These
are
65
(comfort)
feelings,
often
as
painful
as
any
kind
of
physical
pain.
It
is
in
the
whole
process
of
solving
problems
66
life
has
its
meaning.
Problems
are
the
serious
test
that
tells
us
success
from
failure.
When
we
want
to
67
(strength)
the
growth
of
human

we
encourage
the
human
ability
to
solve

as
in

we
set
problems
for
our
children
to
deal
with.
68
(learn)
from
the

out
problems

benefit.
As
Benjamin
Franklin
said,
“Those

wise
people
learn
not
to

to

Yesterday
on
my
way
home,
I
witnessed
a
accident.
A
girl
fell
off
her
bike,
which
head
was
bleeding
heavy.
Many
people
crowded
around
her.
To
help
the
girl,
and
someone
advised
moving
her
to
the
roadside
in
the
shade.
I
disagreed
and
insisted
that
the
girl
should
be
left
where
she
was
until
doctors
get
here.
She
seemed
not

at
that
time.
I
started

Then
I
covered

W:
After

you

Mrs.

OK?
M:
Oh,
do
I

John?
M:
No,
not
often.
In

I
seldom
talk
with
him.
W:
Oh,
why
not?
M:
Because
I
have
nothing
to
talk
with
him
about.
Besides
he
seems
to
be
too
busy
to
spend
time
with
us.
W:
John,
I

you

more
time
with
your

Don’t
you

he
wants
to
talk
with
you?
M:
I
don’t
know,
Alison.
Why
are
you
asking
me
that
kind
of
question?
W:
Well,
yesterday
I
read
a
story
about
a
father
and
his
son,
and
it
was
very
good.
It
really
moved
me.
Why

M:
Hello,

M:
That’s
very
kind
of
you.
It’s
my
first

I’d
like
that.
Where
are
we
going
then?
W:
We
could
start
with
Seashore
Park.
It’s
quite
near
here.
M:
What’s
interesting
about
the
park?
W:
We’ll
go
to
the
top
of
the
hill
in
the
park.
There
you’ll
be
able
to
see
the
view
of
the
sea.
M:
Wonderful.
I’ve
never
seen
the
sea
in
my
life.
W:
Then
we
could
visit
the
museum
in
the
park.
M:
What’s
on
show
there?
W:
Coins.
There
are
coins
from
all
times.
M:
Oh,
no.
I’m
afraid
that
coins
don’t
interest
me.
W:
Then,
how
about
going
to
Bird
Island?
There
are
all
kinds
of
birds
there,
and
lots
of
plants
and
flowers,
too.
M:
That
sounds

I
love
birds.
Let’s
do
that.

and

of
China.
M:
I
have
a

W:

which
is
near
the
local
shopping

Joindoor

M:
How
do

I
have
no

of
this
area.
W:
Cross
the
road
and
turn
left
at
the
other
side.
Walk
along
the
sidewalk
until
you
reach
the
traffic
lights.
You
will
see
a

on
your
right.
Walk

turn
right
after
the

Keep
going
straight
for
about
100
metres
and
the

M:
It
sounds
a
little
bit
difficult.
How
far
is
it
from
here?
W:
It’s
not
so
difficult.
It’s
about
five
minutes’
walk
from
here.
I
can
draw
a
map
for
you
if
you
wish.
M:
Oh,
I
would
really
appreciate
that.

can
easily
deal
with
that
friend.”并结合下文提供的几种方法可知,该空引出下文,F项符合语境。
37.E
本段的主旨句是“Try
to
understand.”,由此可知作者建议去理解这位“自以为无所不知的朋友”,故E项“试着去理解她,并理解她为什么这样做”符合语境。
38.C
根据上文内容以及空后的“Or
this
can
lead
to
her
giving
more
advice.”可知,作者建议不要对这位朋友过度关注,否则会导致她给出更多的建议,C项符合语境。
39.B
空处是本段的主旨句。
通读该段可知,作者建议不要把这种自以为无所不知的朋友的评论和建议放在心上。下文中的“never
take
her
comments
and
advice
seriously”也是提示,故B项正确。
40.G
根据上文中的“Speak
politely
and
don’t
scold
her.Try
to
find
a
good
time
to
talk
to
her.”可知,要和这位朋友谈谈,不能责骂她,故G项“你需要知道你要说什么,并且确保只用一些友好的字眼”符合语境。
41.C
作者早期从事园艺的意图并非是对大自然的热爱。
42.D
根据下文可知,作者从事园艺只是给父母添烦恼。

joy为常用短语,意为“高兴地”,符合语境。

60.D
作者认为是自己对大自然的钟爱使自己最终成为一名真正的园艺师。
61.truth
考查名词。根据上文的形容词great可知,此处应用名词形式。
62.However
考查副词。句意:“一旦我们真正理解并接受它,生活就不再困难。然而,我们大多数人并没有完全认识到这一点。”此处前后句是一种转折关系。
63.is
考查动词。句意:“让生活变得困难的是,面对和解决问题的过程非常痛苦。”此处be动词前面的主语是“the
process”,根据上文可知应用一般现在时,所以填is。
64.based
考查非谓语动词。此处用过去分词作后置定语,修饰problems。
65.uncomfortable
考查形容词。本句中“These”指代的是上文的“sadness
or
regret
or
anger
or
fear”,结合句意可知应为uncomfortable,修饰后面的名词feelings。.

考查强调句式。此处是强调句型,强调“in
the
whole
process
of
solving
problems”,故填that。
