一、教学目标
　　 1、 学习目标
语句：What are you going to study I’m going to study Science.
　 单词：history, geography, physics, chemistry, middle.
2、能口头运用I’m going to study Science.介绍将来的中学生活。
3.情感目标： 使学生对初中所学科目有个初步了解。鼓励学生大胆表达出自己的打算，积极地参与到课堂活动中。
二．教学重点：
　　1、识别各学科的单词：Physics 、Chemistry 、History 、Geography
　　2、学习语句：What are you going to study I'm going to study___.

听懂并认读各学科的英文单词:Physics 、Chemistry 、History 、Geography

五、教学过程：
Step1.Warm-up
1、Greeting and review.
　 Greeting.
　　Chant.
　2.Review the subjects you are studying now.
　　In unit 1， What is Daming going to study And what is Amy going to study What are the students going to study in middle school
(设计意图：活泼欢快的chant活跃了课堂气氛，提高了学生的学习热情。教师与学生自然交流，能消除学生的紧张情绪，巩固旧知，为新授和会话做好铺垫。）
Step2. 课文导入
请学生上前展示上节课后的调查结果，并进行对话表演，老师给予肯定并表扬。然后,T：Well, you’re going to go to middle school soon. You’re going to do a lot of interesting things in the summer holidays. And what are you going to do for our school Please discuss in group and tell us about it after we finish the new text. OK
Step3. Text teaching
1.教学单词Geography.
T:Are you going to study French/Japanese/cookings
Ss: No, we are not.
T: But you need to study Geography.
出示单词卡 点读笔 教读单词三遍。
开火车读单词。
用新单词来进行造句。
（设计意图：通过小组开火车练习，扩大操练面，培养学生敢于开口说英语的勇气)
2.Game: Guessing game.（猜猜后面藏着什么科目。）
　　请同学到讲台上，用句型What are you going to study I'm going to study___. 和其他同学进行问答。
（设计意图：运用游戏来巩固句型可以避免单调、枯燥的朗读，可以大大地调动学生的积极性，激发他们参与热情，从而提高学习效果。）
3、Listen to the tape and look at the pictures.让学生听一听图中的男孩和女孩要在中学学习哪些科目，
Listen to the tape again.学生复述录音的内容。
4、请学生从SB第二单元活动3代表各学科的小图中圈出三个自己喜欢的科目作为自己的个人信息。然后在同学之间寻找搭档进行对话：“What are you going to study I’m going to study…”（板书）通过询问了解对方想要学习的科目。并记录下被询问同学所说的科目，作为转述的依据。活动结束后，请学生先叙述自己想要学习的科目，再转述别人想要学习的科目。
Step 4.Practise:　　
1.T：She is going to go to London middle school. He is going to go to Bridge middle school. Which middle school are you going to go to Why If I am your new English teacher, what will you say to me
　　Two months later, you will leave our school. Before leaving, what are you going to do for our school
　　（设计意图：设计的话题围绕学生生活实际，学生还有两个月就要毕业了，这2个话题容易引起共鸣。让学生置身于仿生活化的语境中，才能让学生感受到语言的真切性，运用英语的实际能力才能得到锻炼。）
Question:

　　4、 What subjects will you study there
学生完成选择题之后，可以将以上内容连成短文，并上前展示，朗读自己即将到来的中学生活的一些基本情况。
2、Memory game:
A: I’m going to go to school by bus.
B: He’s going to go to school by bus and I’m going to walk to school.
C: He’s going to go to school by bus. She’s going to walk to school and I’m going to ride my bike to school.
游戏内容不限定于上学的交通方式，鼓励学生替换成各种学习科目或者具体中学的名字，逐句累加。
（设计意图：创设情境，让学生在仿真的语言环境中交流，把所学的知识巧妙地得到应用。这样，提高了学生的表达能力、表演能力和交流能力。）
Step5、学习活动4诗歌。
先请学生看一看诗歌，结合书中的插图充分理解诗歌所要表达的含义，并适当地进行讲解。播放录音，逐句停顿，让学生跟读，并注意模仿语音、语调和节奏。留出一定时间让学生个别练习，然后有感情地朗读这首诗歌。请学生在操练的时候根据诗意自己加上合适的动作。
　Step 6、Homework
请学生与自己的小学好友共同完成同学纪念册，记录好友的爱好、电话等信息，并为好友写一段英文祝福或者好的格言警句，送给对方。
