一、教材简析
本册教材----New
Standard
English(供一年级起使用)第九册是供小学五年级上学期使用的。全书共分为11个模块（Module）,内含一个复习模块。每个模块分两个单元（Unit）.一般情况下，第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容，即语言呈现（language
presentation）；第二单元提供若干任务型（Task-based）练习，包括一首歌谣或小诗，即语言扩展(language
development)和语言练习(language
practice)。本册教材，我们要跟着Lingling和Smart一家人去英国访问，了解英国的公园、商店、学校和节日等。同时，我们要比较系统地学习英语语句的重音，语句重音能提升英语语感，对英语学习有很大的帮助。

这个chant是把课文中的重点短语进行提前预习，因为没有生词学生能够顺利说出。在说chant时边说边做动作。这个导入是一举三得，一得：热身；二得：预习单词和短语；三得：为课文学习后学生进行造句练习打下基础。

让学生点读单词，一个接一个读单词。
教师一边拿出一张请柬一边说:

invitation点读单词，一个接一个读单词，开火车读，整体读，学习这个词。
并练习句型：What’s

（这一环节通过猜图不仅增加趣味性，又提高了学生学习英语的兴趣，而且可以很顺利很自然的进入课文。）

学生回答后，引出tidy
up的学习。学生第一遍听读课文，是初步感知课文，所以问题的设置非常简单。回答的每一个问题前都加以笑脸和哭脸的表情，激发起学生回答问题的积极性，因为学生想知道下一问题的动画是什么？
2.让学生打开书，跟读一遍课文。

答问题并找出句型的共同点，让学生说出时态后出示一般将来时：表示将来某一时刻的动作或状态，或将来某一段时间内经常的动作或状态。
一般将来时的用法:be
going

(这四个问题是先跟读课文然后小组讨论，这个环节包含：跟读课文理解课文，小组讨论，找出课文重点语法，这几个环节层层递进，环环相扣，由易到难。学生很容易就能掌握本课的重难点。)
