M:What
do
you
think
of
the
coat,
madam?
It
suits
you
well
and
the
price
is
fair.
W:I
know
it's
on
sale
today
but
its
color
is
not
my
favorite.
Text

W:Is
it
lunch
time?
M:No,
there
is
nearly
half
an
hour
to
go.
W:So,
we
can
go
to
the
library
first
to
read
books
after
this
class.
Text

W:Hello,
Jack.
This
is
Judy.
M:Hello,
Judy.
I'm
sorry
to
tell
you
that
I
will
arrive
at
the
airport
half
an
hour
later.
W:Oh,
it
doesn't
matter.
The
flight
is
delayed.
Our
plane
will
take
off
at
8:30.
Text

M:Pardon
me,
Miss.
I
asked
for
dessert
twenty
minutes
ago
but
it
hasn't
been
served
to
me
yet.
W:I'm
so
sorry,
sir.
I'll
check
it
for
you.
Text

M:Lisa,
I've
read
your
letter.
Why
did
you
write
that?
Were
you
unhappy
working
for
us?
W:No,
not
at
all.
M:Well,
have
you
been
given
a
better
offer?
W:No.
It's
my
mother.
She's
ill.
I
have
to
spend
much
time
taking
care
of
her.
Text

M:Mary,
how's
your
job
going?
W:I've
moved
to
a
new
office
and
it's
a
little
far
from
where
I
live.
Actually
I'm
looking
for
a
new
job
because
the
people
there
are
very
unfriendly.
M:Oh,
me
too!
I
hate
my
job
for
I
have
to
work
overtime
nearly
every
day.
W:What
kind
of
job
are
you
looking
for?
M:I
don't
want
to
stay
in
the
office
any
more.
Maybe
I
can
work
in
the
travel
agency.
How
about
you?
W:I
checked
on
the
Internet
and
I
think
an
office
job
in
a
hotel
near
my
home
seems
nice.

W:Hi,
I
was
told
to
see
you
about
going
sightseeing.
M:It
is
my
pleasure.
I
am
here
to
help
direct
visitors
to
popular
places
to
visit,
eat,
and
shop.
W:OK.
Where
shall
we
begin
my
trip?
M:I
would
suggest
the
History
Museum.
W:I've
already
seen
it.
M:Let
me
see.
What
do
you
like
to
do
in
your
spare
time?
W:I
really
like
nature
flowers
and
trees.
M:Central
Park
is
a
fantastic
place
for
you
to
relax.
There
are
also
many
plants.
After
that
we
can
go
to
the
shopping
mall
around
it.
W:Good.
Text
8
M:Are
you
ready
to
go
shopping?
W:Just
a
few
minutes.
I
need
to
make
a
list
of
the
things
that
we
need.
M:Good
idea.
Remember
to
write
down
“tea,
eggs,
red
pepper
and
potatoes”.
W:But
we've
already
got
four
eggs
in
the
fridge.
M:Do
you
forget
that
my
mother's
birthday
is
tomorrow
and
I'm
going
to
make
a
birthday
cake
for
her
tonight?
I'll
need
at
least
six
eggs
to
make
one.
W:I
got
it.
Oh,
what
kind
of
tea
do
you
prefer?
Green
tea
or
flower
tea?
M:I'd
like
to
try
the
new
green
tea.
W:OK.
Do
you
bring
enough
money?
M:We
don't
have
enough
cash,
but
I'll
take
my
credit
card.
Text

M:That
was
a
great
party.
Thanks
for
staying
behind
to
help
me
clear
up.
W:That's
OK.
It's
a
pity
that
a
glass
got
broken.
M:It
doesn't
matter.
Luckily
nobody
got
hurt.
Last
time
someone
even
broke
my
TV
set.
I'll
deal
with
it.
W:I'm
going
to
put
all
the
rubbish
into
this
big
plastic
bag.
Then
we
can
wash
the
dishes
together.
Everything
will
be
finished
within
an
hour.
M:Good.
W:Hey,
your
friend
Keith
was
really
funny.
I
liked
his
jokes.
M:Yes,
he
was
very
good,
wasn't
he?
Didn't
you
see
Amanda?
She
told
some
funny
stories,
too.
W:Really?
Since
I
came
here,
she's
been
very
serious.
M:I
think
that
she
had
a
little
too
much
of
the
apple
pie.
W:What
did
you
put
in
that
pie?
It
tasted
really
great.
M:That's
my
little
secret.
Did
you
like
the
snacks
that
I
prepared?
W:Very
much.
The
French
fries
were
the
best
that
I
had
ever
had.
The
birthday
cake
was
delicious,
too,
wasn't
it?
Emily
told
me
that
she
had
half
of
it.
M:Right.
It
disappeared
within
minutes,
so
I
think
everyone
liked
it
a
lot.

I
was
once
a
fat
girl.
I
weighed
330
pounds
and
looked
as
big
as
my
fridge.
I
was
never
worried
about
it.
But
one
day
I
had
a
medical
examination.
The
doctor
told
me
that
I
was
having
heart
trouble.
It
woke
me
up.
I
began
to
feel
nervous.
Then
I
decided
to
do
something!
In
a
year
and
five
months,
I
lost
about
100
pounds.
What
a
great
thing
I
did!
I
didn't
have
any
expensive
for
medical
treatment
or
exercise
in
any
camps.
What
was
the
secret
to
my
success?
First
I
looked
through
the
Internet
for
do?it?yourself
advice
that
people
could
follow
to
lose
weight.
Of
course
I
saw
countless
ads
which
try
to
get
me
to
buy
their
products.
But
I
bought
nothing.
The
only
thing
I
did
was
to
change
my
bad
habits.
So
I
stopped
drinking
or
eating
sweet
food.
And
I
never
ate
after
6:30
pm.
Besides,
I
did
light
exercise
for
15
to
20
minutes
five
days
a
week.
Then
I
kept
doing
what
I
should
do.
The
most
important
thing
is
to
stick
with
it
until
you
lose
weight.

Martha
Graham,
born
in
1894,
was
one
of
the
most
famous
dancers
and
creators
of
dance,
whose
influence
(影响)
on
dance
has
been
compared
with
the
influence
Picasso
(毕加索)
had
on
the
modern
visual
arts,
Stravinsky
had
on
music,
or
Frank
Lloyd
Wright
had
on
architecture.
She
created
almost
two
hundred
dance
pieces.
She
is
often
called
the
Mother
of
Modern
Dance.
Earlier
in
her
life,
however,
Martha
did
not
know
that
she
would
become
a
dancer.
At
that
time,
the
dancers
were
looked
down
on.
So
Martha's
parents
didn't
approve
of
her
desire
to
dance
at
the
beginning.
Until
1916,
she
began
her
studies
at
the
newly
created
Denishawn
School
of
Dancing
and
Related
Arts,
founded
by
Ruth
St.
Denis
and
Ted
Shawn,
where
Graham
worked
very
hard
to
improve
her
ability
to
dance
because
she
was
considered
too
old
to
begin
dancing.
In
1936,
Graham
made
her
defining
work,
“Chronicle”,
which
was
the
symbol
of
the
beginning
of
a
new
era
(纪元)
in
modern
dance.
The
dance
brought
serious
issues
to
the
stage
for
the
general
public
in
a
dramatic
manner.
Graham
continued
to
dance
past
the
age
of
seventy.
Once
again,
she
was
met
with
criticism
(批评)
from
people
who
came
to
watch
her
shows.
But
she
didn't
give
up.
Her
last
completed
ballet
(芭蕾舞)
was
1990's
“Maple
Leaf
Rag”.
A
Dancer's
World
is
an
introduction
to
Graham
and
her
work.
She
tells
about
her
dances
and
her
dance
group
shows
some
of
their
methods.
Martha
Graham
received
many
awards
during
her
lifetime,
including
the
Presidential
Medal
of
Freedom
in
nineteen
seventy?six.
She
was
the
first
dancer
to
receive
the
country's
highest
civilian
honor.
She
died
in
1991
at
the
age
of
ninety?six.
In
1998,
Time
magazine
listed
her
as
the
“Dancer
of
the
Century”
and
as
one
of
the
most
important
people
of
the
twentieth
century.

A
study
published
in
Blood
Pressure
Monitoring
shows
that
sitting
with
your
legs
crossed
can
increase
your
blood
pressure
(血压).
The
reason
this
happens
is
that
the
blood
in
your
legs
has
to
work
against
gravity
to
come
back
to
your
heart,
crossing
one
leg
over
the
other
increases
resistance,
making
it
even
harder
for
the
blood
to
go
around.
This
causes
your
body
to
increase
your
blood
pressure
to
push
the
blood
back
to
the
heart.
You
won't
feel
any
immediate
effects,
but
if
you
sit
for
long
periods
of
time
it's
important
that
you
take
note
of
how
long
you
have
your
legs
crossed
for.
You
shouldn't
have
your
legs
crossed
for
more
than
15
minutes,
and
it's
important
that
you
get
up
and
walk
around
at
least
once
every
hour.
Crossing
your
legs
can
also
lead
to
neck
and
back
pain.
Ideally,
it's
best
for
our
bodies
to
sit
with
our
feet
placed
flat,
hip
(臀部)
width
apart,
on
the
floor,
but
it's
not
easy
to
maintain
perfect
posture
all
day
at
the
office.
When
you
sit
with
your
legs
crossed,
your
hips
are
in
a
twisted
(扭曲的)
position,
which
can
cause
one
of
your
pelvic
bones
(髋骨)
to
rotate.
Since
your
pelvic
bone
supports
your
neck
and
spine,
this
can
cause
pressure
on
your
lower
and
middle
back
and
neck.
You
also
might
notice
that
when
you
sit
with
your
legs
crossed
for
long
periods
of
time
your
feet
and
legs
get
tingly
or
have
the
feeling
of
being
asleep.
This
is
because
when
one
leg
sits
on
top
of
the
other
it
causes
pressure
on
the
veins
and
nerves
in
your
legs
and
feet.
It
can
cause
numbness
(麻木)
and/or
temporary
paralysis
in
the
legs,
ankles,
or
feet.
While
the
feeling
of
discomfort
may
only
last
a
minute
or
two,
repeatedly
crossing
your
legs
until
they
feel
numb
can
cause
permanent
nerve
damage.
So
next
time
you
sit
down,
try
to
get
yourself
in
the
habit
of
sitting
with
both
of
your
feet
on
the
floor.
Not
only
will
it
help
your
posture
and
stability,
but
it
will
also
save
your
health
in
the
long
run.
27.According
to
Paragraph

for

will
feel
uncomfortable
at
the
moment
we
cross
the
legs
C.we
should
take
a
walk
every
hour
after

still
D.crossing
legs
while
sitting
makes
it
harder
for

blood
to
circulate

第四部分 写作(共两节,满分40分)

假如你是李华,你的加拿大笔友Harry上周写信询问你的体育爱好。请给他写一封回信,内容包括:
1.你喜欢的运动项目及原因,如有益于身心健康(physical
and
mental
health),增强自信等;
2.何时喜欢上这项运动,现在参加该运动的情况如何;
3.询问对方的体育爱好。
注意:1.词数80左右;
2.可以适当增加细节,以使行文连贯。
第二节 概要写作(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
Group
exercise
is
one
of
the
most
useful
ways
to
improve
physical
health
and
maintain
a
healthy
lifestyle.
Group
exercise
is
challenging
but
fun!
Of
course
everyone
knows
that
exercise
is
good
for
the
body.
However,
studies
have
shown
that
when
exercise
is
done
in
groups,
it
is
great
for
improving
not
only
physical
health
but
also
mental
health.
It
is
a
chance
to
be
social
and
improve
your
strength.
Also,
group
exercise
creates
a
community
(团体)
feel
and
the
shared
common
goal
makes
participants
work
hard.
Another
beneficial
aspect
of
group
exercise
is
the
informational
support
participants
receive
from
the
instructor.
If
you
fear
the
gym
because
you
feel
lost
and
don't
want
to
embarrass
yourself,
then
group
training
is
a
better
choice
for
you.
It
is
an
awesome
chance
to
learn
more
about
health
through
the
clear
instruction
and
supervision
(监督)
of
a
fitness
instructor.
If
you
are
tired
of
wandering
around
the
gym
wasting
time
and
becoming
bored,
you
can
attend
an
optimistic
group
exercise
class
that
will
keep
your
exercise
in
the
right
direction.
If
you
are
serious
about
wanting
to
live
a
healthy
life-style,
it
is
very
important
to
surround
yourself
with
people
who
will
provide
you
with
the
proper
emotional
support.
I
wouldn't
speak
angrily
to
anyone
for
deciding
to
party
on
the
weekends,
and
in
turn
I
wouldn't
expect
anyone
to
scold
me
for
focusing
on
my
health.
Surround
yourself
with
people
who
encourage
and
understand
you!
Plan
to
go
for
a
jog
with
a
friend,
and
then
try
a
fun
healthy
restaurant
or
fresh
juice
bar!
Surrounding
yourself
with
people
who
will
provide
you
with
support
can
be
very
beneficial
while
working
towards
reaching
health
goals.
First,
decide
to
do
it
for
yourself
and
work
towards
maintaining
a
positive
mind.
Then
make
sure
the
people
you
surround
yourself
with
are
supportive.
Don't
let
negativity
(消极性)
ruin
your
motivation
(积极性).
