一、学情分析
小学四年级下学期学生处于中年级向高年级过渡时期,形象思维依然是主导,好奇心强,思维更为开阔。逻辑思维初步形成,老师应注重引导学生从中低年级的以语言模仿为主的英语学习方式逐渐过渡到语言运用的方式,开发学生思维。既注重学生的形象思维,同样注重学生英语学习逻辑思维的培养,开发学生的发散性思维。随着课堂改革和新样态课堂的不断呈现,线上教学成为学生学习的新方式,师生之间的互动有了线上新模式,教师要特别注重在线上课程设计时前后的逻辑连贯性和思维启发性,通过游戏、歌曲、歌谣、视频等方式吸引学生的注意力,充分调动学生在较短时间内的参与度和学习兴趣,从而尽可能提高网络线上学习的效率,落实线上教学的质量。
二、教材分析:
本单元内容属于教材的模块四The

us,
是根据学生身心发展后去鼓励学生关注身边环境的变化和发展,到一个新地方遇到一件好玩的事,表达自己的感受,能够讨论丰富的校园生活和课余生活,抒发一下对大自然的赞美,能和外国朋友交流各种信息,比如天气;鼓励学生通过学习后找到合适的词语和句式去满足表达的需要。
在此前英语学习中,学生已经学习过与天气相关的主要词汇,如sunny,windy,

本单元话题Weather是学生喜闻乐见的、与生活息息相关的,鼓励学生关注身边天气和环境的变化。教师以Kitty和家人的活动在不同天气中的变化和讨论创设情境,使教学内容层层递进,使学生的语言能力螺旋上升。因此,本单元将分为四个课时。
第一课时侧重词汇、语音教学。教师通过设置主人公Kitty创设情境,设计Kitty为了进入运动俱乐部通过对知识点的闯关学习赢取俱乐部的入场券,引导学生在游戏体验中感知语音、运用旧知,学习新知。学生能够熟练运用新词汇、新句型。
第二课时为听说课,侧重句型操练和拓展语段表达,学生在情境中操练核心句型,旧知引新知,习得更多生活实际中谈论交流天气的英语表达,提高听说能力。
第三课时侧重词汇、句型的复习及综合运用。通过创设真实的情境Kitty去郊外度假,引导学生把知识从课内迁移到课外,提升语用表达能力和天气意义的体验。
第四课时侧重英语语篇表达能力的拓展。学生通过介绍自己最喜欢的运动而体会运动意义,激趣促进学生书写能力和综合语用能力,表达自己对运动的思考和感受。
