【教学准备】
教师准备一张世界地图、一张中国地图、一面中国国旗、幻灯片上准备天安门、故宫、长城、兵马俑、上海外滩、布达拉宫、莫高窟的图片，录音机、磁带、词卡。
【教学设计】
(一)课前热身
师生齐唱下面的chant开始本堂课：

(二)学习新知
1．学习单词map，China，speak。
(1)教师拿出一张中国地图，问学生：What
is
it？引导学生回答：It
is
a
map
of
China.然后出示单词卡片map，China，学习它们的发音。叫几个学生尝试读一读，然后教师教读：map，China，师生共同拼写这两个单词。
(2)学习speak。教师说：I
speak
Chinese.I
can
speak
English.接着拿出单词卡，领读几遍“speak”，叫几个学生尝试读一读，教师再反复领读，最后师生一起拼写：s?p?e?a?k，speak。
2．学习短语：a
map
of，the
capital
city
of，the
flag
of，in
China。
这几个短语较简单，教师可通过讲解和练习学习它们的用法。
3．呈现课文。
