Unit 5 He’s my father
Lesson 1
Function: identifying family members and possessions.
Structure(new):
He’s my father. That’s his boat.
Who’s she She’s my mother. That’s her car.
Structures (review):
This is (pen).
Vocabulary:
Core: a car a boat a bike a room.
Contextral:
Come in. Mom
Preparation:
Make drawing of a car, a boat, a computer and a bike, all on one sheet of paper. Family drawing from Unit 4.
Procedures:
Introduce he and she:
1.T: what’s your name S: My name’s (Diana).
T say to the others : She’s (Diana).
二、Practise : who’s that ( indicate someone)
He’s /She’s ….
三、Pair work
Introduce his and her:
(1)This is her /his pen. (ruler, eraser,book)
(2)Explain: use the possessive form his for males, her for females.
Point out that the possessive form my does not change.
Talk about the story: P50-51
(1)Ask the questions about the picture:
(2)who is Ken greeting
(3)who does Mocky meet
(4)who else does Mocky meet
(5)who do you think owns the rooms
who is Kate
Who owns the bike
四、Story:
1.Say, we are going to hear what the character said.
2.Listen, repeat after the tape.
3.Role play.
Homework:
