pick
out
precise
numbers,
they
can
understand
that
more
is
more.
Interestingly,
we
know
now
that
numerical(数值的)competence

present

almost
every
branch

animal
tree

they
evolved
numerical
competence

many
respects,
is
comparable
to

frogs
sing
“advertisement”
calls
to
attract
females.
The
females,
listening
for
the
complexity
of
their
calls,
choose
the
male
that
sings
the

Wolves
are
more
likely

right
number
of
wolves
in
their
pack
for
the
size
of
their

With
prey
like
deer,
only
around
six

eight
wolves
are
needed,
while
hunting
wild
ox

a
pack
of
nine

this
concept
to
protect
themselves
from
predators
