归纳:
如果分数做主语,则要看它代表可数名词还是不可数名词,如代表可数名词的复数,则谓语动词用___________形式; 如代表不可数名词,则谓语动词用___________形式。

2. It is important to know how they react with different substances,for example,water and oxygen.
了解它们如何同像水、氧气这样不同的物质发生反应是非常重要的。
(1)It is/ was + adj.+ to do sth 是一个固定句型。其中的it是形式主语,真正的主语是动词不定式to后面的部分。
(2)how引导的句子作know的宾语。
(3)for example是不完全列举,“例如”。完全列举时用that is。
链接:以it作形式主语或形式宾语的动词有:feel,consider,find,believe,make,take,imagine,think,suppose, count, regard等。在这种结构中,被替代的成分要置于句尾。
