经历;体验 (1)experience作及物动词,其后可跟名词、动名词、代词作宾语。(2)experience作“经验”讲时,是不可数名词;作“(一次)经历”讲时,是可数名词。[练一练]:Everyone

例:We

building.我们不知道那座建筑物的高度。height的形容词为high,意为“高的”,可作表语和定语。例:There

3.辨析high与tall
不同点:(1)指人、动物或树木的高度时,用tall而不用high;(2)当指一个不与地面接触的人或物离地面的高度时要用high,而不用tall;例:The

tree.那只猫高高地趴在树上。(3)tall的反义词是short,
high的反义词是low;例:a
short
man
(short不能用low替换) 一个矮个子男人 a
low
building
(low不能用short替换)一座矮楼 (4)high可作副词,而tall则不能作副词。
相同点:指建筑物的高度时用tall和high均可,可说a
tall/high
building。
(注:但指一个非常庞大的建筑物时要用high,因为high在程度上要大于tall。)

high指具体的高度。例:The

highly指抽象的高度。例:My
