1．“我是实习小交警”活动。教师准备一张简明城市交通图和一顶交警帽。学生两人一组，分别扮演“交警”与“问路者”：

若问路使其他学生能根据“交警”的指示语顺利找到目的地，则“实习”小交警晋升为“正式”小交警，教师颁发给交警袖章或其他奖励品。
2．教师出示教材P44～45的插图。
(1)教师学着猫的样子：

(6)两人一组分角色表演对话。

我的舞台我来秀。
教师用一些课桌模拟街道场景摆放，设置MICE
house和NICE
house的位置。
把学生分成六个小组，每个小组分配角色：I
，my
sister
Kitty，a
dog，a
bird。
每个小组角色的服装，说话的方式可自由创意。最后六个小组来PK，决出优秀奖、最佳表演奖、最佳口才奖、最佳造型奖等。教师在教室移动，鼓励和帮助学生开口使用英语完成交际。
