1.“我是实习小交警”活动。教师准备一张简明城市交通图和一顶交警帽。学生两人一组,分别扮演“交警”与“问路者”:

若问路使其他学生能根据“交警”的指示语顺利找到目的地,则“实习”小交警晋升为“正式”小交警,教师颁发给交警袖章或其他奖励品。
2.教师出示教材P44~45的插图。

(6)两人一组分角色表演对话。

我的舞台我来秀。
教师用一些课桌模拟街道场景摆放,设置MICE
house和NICE
house的位置。
把学生分成六个小组,每个小组分配角色:I
,my
sister
Kitty,a
dog,a
bird。
每个小组角色的服装,说话的方式可自由创意。最后六个小组来PK,决出优秀奖、最佳表演奖、最佳口才奖、最佳造型奖等。教师在教室移动,鼓励和帮助学生开口使用英语完成交际。
