第一课时
教学目标：1. Learn the words: a cow, a hen, a duck, a pig, a mouse.2. Be able to use the sentence “What is it ” “It’s a …”3. Understand and tell the story； 批注：

教学难点：Understand the sentence” Is it a … ” “It’s a …”“It isn’t a …”
教学用具：Textbook, tape, tape-recorder, alphabet cards and word cards.
教学方法： games, reading, action, etc.
教学过程：
Step 1 Warm-up activity1. Greeting. 2. Sing an English song we’ve learned together.Step 2 Presentation & drill 1. Learn to say: a cow.T show “a cow”picture and say “ Look! What is this It’s a cow”, help Ss understand the meaning. Read the sentence after T.Learn to say: a hen, a duck, a pig, a mouse in the same way.Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss say the words.Open the books, listen to the tape and read after it.2. Lead-in. T shows the picture of Part A, B & C. T says and help students understand the meaning. Read the sentence after teacher.3. Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss tell the story.4. Open the books, listen to the tape and read after it.Step 3 Practise1. 1. A game—— A little actor.T show animal pictures, Ss say and act.…Step 4 ConsolidationHomework: listen to the tape and read it.
