A
[2021·长春模拟]As
Simon
Kindleysides,
34,
took
his
first
step
in
the
London
Marathon
in
April,
he
felt
as
if
magic
was
in
the
air.
“As
we
were
walking
toward
the
first
mile,
we
actually
started
joining
all
the
runners,”
he
said.
“Everyone
was
on
the
streets,
cheering,
and
that
was
a
magical
moment.”
As
time
went
on,
the
crowds
and
other
racers
spread
around.
Kindleysides
and
his
team
of
eight
supporters
continued
walking.
Kindleysides,
who
is
paralyzed
(瘫痪的)
from
the
waist
down
and
typically
uses
a
wheelchair,
was
equipped
with
an
exoskeleton
(体外骨骼)
to
help
him
walk.
His
supporters
walked
with
him
to
change
the
batteries
in
his
exoskeleton
so
he
could
keep
moving.
In
2013,
Kindleysides
was
diagnosed
with
a
brain
tumor
(肿瘤)
that
was
growing
in
a
way
that
pressed
on
certain
nerves,
leading
to
him
losing
feeling
in
his
legs.
He
was
told
he
would
never
walk
again.
Before
his
paralysis,
the
London?based
singer
and
dancer
had
“always
wanted
to
run
a
marathon,”
he
said,
but
he
never
made
the
plan
to
do
so—until
this
year.
During
the
London
Marathon,
the
last
two
miles
were
the
hardest.
“At
that
point,
I
was
exhausted.
It
was
freezing
cold,
and
I
was
hurting
emotionally,”
Kindleysides
said.
But
he
kept
going.
“I
didn't
want
to
let
people
down.
I
had
a
team
of
eight,
and
I
was
raising
money
for
The
Brain
Tumour
Charity,”
he
said.
“I
didn't
want
to
let
them
down,
myself
down,
and
I
thought
if
I
would
get
this
far,
I
would
have
to
continue.”So
he
continued
and
made
history
as
the
first
paralyzed
man
to
complete
the
London
Marathon
on
foot.
Then,
recovering
at
home,
he
shared
his
accomplishment
with
his
three
children.
“They
used
to
say
I'm
the
only
dad
in
their
whole
school
who's
in
a
wheelchair,
and
now
they
say
I'm
their
dad,
the
only
one
who
has
walked
a
marathon,”
he
said.
Kindleysides
is
training
to
complete
three
more
marathons
next
year,
including
the
London
Marathon
again.

with
the
wheelchair.
2.What
caused
Kindleysides'
disability?
A.An
accident
in
the
previous
marathon.
B.An
operation
on
his
brain

3.What

to

the
hardest
two?mile

others.
B.The
strong
desire
to
recover.
C.The
kindness
to
help
the
charity.
D.The
prize
money
for
the
winner.
4.What
can
we
learn
about
Kindleysides?
A.He
was
once
a
successful
actor.
B.His
children
feel
a
pity
for
him
in
the
wheelchair
now.
C.He

[2021·沈阳模拟]Ten
minutes
of
gentle
exercise
can
immediately
change
how
certain
parts
of
the
brain
communicate
and
coordinate
(协调)
with
one
another
and
improve
memory
function,
according
to
an
encouraging
new
study.
The
scientists
invited
36
people
of
different
ages
to
the
lab
and
had
them
sit
quietly
on
a
fixed
bicycle
for
10
minutes
or,
on
a
separate
visit,
pedal
the
bicycle
at
a
pace
so
gentle
that
it
barely
raised
their
heart
rates.
It
also
was
short,
lasting
for
only
10
minutes.
Immediately
after
each
session
of
the
sitting
or
slow
pedaling,
the
people
completed
a
computerized
memory
test
during
which
they
would
see
a
brief
picture
of,
for
instance,
a
tree,
followed
by
a
variety
of
other
images
and
then
a
new
image
of
either
the
same
tree
or
a
similar
one.
The
people
would
press
buttons
to
show
whether
they
thought
each
image
was
new
or
the
same
as
an
earlier
shot.
The
test
is
difficult,
since
many
of
the
images
closely
resemble
one
another.
It
requires
rapid,
skillful
scanning
recent
memories
to
decide
whether
a
picture
is
new
or
known.
Next,
the
scientists
had
each
person
repeat
this
process—riding
or
sitting
on
the
bike
for
10
minutes
and
then
completing
memory
testing—but
the
testing
now
took
place
inside
an

machine
(磁共振成像仪)
that
scanned
the
people's
brains
while
they
responded
to
the
images.
Then
the
researchers
compared
results.
The
effects
of
the
exercise
were
clear.
The
people
were
better
at
remembering
images
after
they
had
ridden
the
bike,
especially
when
the
images
most
closely
resembled
one
another.
In
other
words,
the
harder
their
memories
had
to
do
their
best,
the
better
they
performed
after
the
exercise.
The
M.
R.
I.
scans
showed
that
memory
parts
of
each
person's
brain
lit
up
at
the
same
time
with
parts
of
the
brain
associated
with
learning,
indicating
that
these
physically
separate
parts
of
the
brain
were
better
connected
now
than
when
the
people
had
not
first
exercised.
5.How
did
the
researchers
conduct
the
study?
A.By
filling
up
questionnaires.
B.By
interviewing
many
people.
C.By
comparing
experiment
data.
D.By
referring
to
historical
reports.
6.Who
might
benefit
most
from
the
study
result?
A.The
marketers
promoting
fixed
bicycles.
B.The
young
people
crazy
about
body
building.
C.The
white
collars
doing
long?term
mental
work.
D.The
blue?collars
doing
heavy
physical
labor
work.
7.Which
of
the
following
statements
agrees
with
the
study
result?
A.The
light
exercise
is
only
good
for
young
people.
B.The
more
the
exercise
is,
the
better
the
brain
works.
C.The
exercise
can
coordinate
different
parts
of
the
body.
D.The
exercise
has
more
positive
effect
when
the
brain
works
harder.
8.What
can
be
the
best
title
for
the
text?
A.Even
Ten

Be

B.There

Ⅱ.七选五
[2021·黄山模拟]Sports
offer
kids
the
ability
to
exercise
while
having
fun,
the
chance
to
learn
how
to
play
as
a
team,
and
a
good
way
to
develop
athletic
skills.
Despite
these
benefits,
70%
of
kids
quit
sports
by
the
age
of
13.
__1__.
◆__2__.
Have
you
ever
watched
kindergarteners
play
soccer
against
another
team
of
kindergarteners?
It
is
both
enjoyable
and
amusing.
No
matter
what
the
score,
all
the
kids
have
a
good
time
and
are
happy.
__3__.
The
focus
changes
from
having
fun
to
practicing
skills.
Only
the
pre?teens
with
the
best
skills
can
get
the
most
time
in
the
game.
What
was
a
fun
activity
at
age
5
becomes
a
source
of
stress
and
pressure
for
a
pre?teen.
Those
who
are
not
among
the
most
talented
players
tend
to
quit
and
find
something
else
they
might
be
good
at.

It
costs
more.
__4__.
Parents
of
a
pre?teen
are
going
to
need
to
purchase
a
uniform,
gear,
and
equipment.
Teams
need
to
travel
to
compete
against
teams
from
other
schools
or
districts.
Parents
who
want
to
watch
the
games
now
have
extra
gas
costs
to
deal
with.
Therefore,
when
an
activity
becomes
expensive,
parents
start
pushing
their
pre?teen
to
do
well
in
it.
Perhaps
the
parents
complain
that
if
their
pre?teen
is
sitting
on
the
bench,
or
isn't
the
star
player,
the
money
wasn't
worth
it.
This
adds
extra
pressure
on
a
pre?teen
who
might
quit
the
team.

It's
the
age.
Parents
need
to
remember
that
pre?teens
are
going
through
a
lot
of
changes.
Their
bodies
are
changing.
School
has
become
more
challenging
(and
requires
them
to
manage
a
lot
of
homework).
__5__
If
your
pre?teen's
friends
quit
playing
soccer,
your
pre?teen
might
quit
as
well.
A.It
stops
being
fun.
B.Here
are
some
reasons
why
that
happens.
C.Their
friends
are
becoming
bored
of
some
sport.
D.The
more
money
in
a
sport,
the
less
participation
in
it.
E.As
kids
get
older,
the
experience
of
playing
sports
changes.
F.Their
peers
are
becoming
more
important
to
them
than
their
family
is.
G.The
older
a
player
gets,
the
more
expensive
the
participation
in
a
sport
becomes.
一.完型填空
阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
An
act
of
kindness
doesn’t
have
to
be
a
grand
gesture.
Even
those
small
acts
of
kindness
can
make
a
difference
in
someone’
day.
That
was
just
the
case
for
Amie
Mickey
when
she
21
a
bumper
sticker
(车尾贴)
on
her
car
reading:
You
Matter.
Amie
started
to
do
this
several
years
ago.
At
first,
she
wondered
if
people
would
22
it.
However,
much
to
her
surprise,
she
began
seeing
a
flood
of
23
every
time
she
hit
the
road.
More
often
than
not,
people
24
slowly
near
her
car
would
roll
down
their
windows,
raising
their
25
,
waving
and
smiling.
Sometimes,
she
even
found
some
sticky
notes
left
on
her
windshield
saying
things
like
“You
26
too!”
Once
while
she
was
driving
down
the
highway,
she
became
27
when
a
man
driving
a
sports
car
at
a
high
speed
pulled
his
car
alongside
suddenly,
waving
and
mouthing,
“You
matter!”
Though
it
took
her
some
time
to
recover
from
the
28
,
she
still
felt
happy.
Last
year,
someone
29
her
car
while
she
was
waiting
for
her
friend
in
the
car
by
the
roadside,
saying
to
her,
“It
is
a(an)
30
sticker.
I’ve
seen
various
stickers
before,
but
none
of
them
have
touched
me
as
your
sticker
has
done.”
The
two
small
words
on
the
sticker
seem
simple
enough,
but
they
really
struck
a
chord
with
many
complete
strangers
who
31
to
catch
sight
of
the
sticker.
Stories
like
Amie’s
really
32
the
rest
of
us.
Sometimes
a
kind
word
or
gesture
may
lift
our
33
and
it
doesn’t
cost
a
thing
except
for
a
little
extra
thought.
Maybe
it
means
offering
a
friend
a
hug,
praising
the
children
when
their
children
34
well
in
school,
helping
someone
out
or
volunteering
at
nursing
homes.
Acts
of
kindness
are
waiting
everywhere.
Small
as
they
seem,
they
can
make
a
35
impact
on
the
world,
and
help
form
general
goodness.

[2021·长春模拟]As
Simon
Kindleysides,
34,
took
his
first
step
in
the
London
Marathon
in
April,
he
felt
as
if
magic
was
in
the
air.
“As
we
were
walking
toward
the
first
mile,
we
actually
started
joining
all
the
runners,”
he
said.
“Everyone
was
on

streets,
cheering,
and
that
was
a
magical
moment.”
As
time
went
on,
the
crowds
and
other
racers
spread
around.
Kindleysides
and
his
team
of
eight
supporters
continued
walking.
Kindleysides,
who
is
paralyzed

from
the
waist
down
and
typically
uses
a
wheelchair,
was
equipped
with
an
exoskeleton
(体外骨骼)
to
help
him
walk.
His
supporters
walked
with
him
to
change
the
batteries
in
his
exoskeleton
so
he
could
keep
moving.
In
2013,
Kindleysides
was
diagnosed
with
a

(肿瘤)
that
was
growing
in
a
way
that
pressed
on

leading
to
him

He
was
told
he

Before
his

the
London?based

had
“always

he
said,
but
he
never

the

this

During
the
London
Marathon,
the
last
two

were
the
hardest.
“At
that
point,
I
was
exhausted.
It
was
freezing
cold,
and
I
was
hurting
emotionally,”
Kindleysides
said.
But
he
kept
going.
“I
didn't

people

I
had
a
team
of
eight,
and
I

he
said.
“I

to
let
them

myself
down,
and
I
thought
if
I
would
get
this
far,
I
would
have
to
continue.”So
he
continued
and
made
history
as
the
first

the
London

on
foot.
Then,
recovering
at
home,
he
shared
his

and
now
they

he
said.

【分析】这是一篇新闻报道。文章介绍了春节电影票房大卖的电影--《你好,李焕英》,包括其票房、评分以及故事内容等。
36.【解析】考查过去分词。句意:在中国春节期间上映的七部电影中,《你好,李焕英》是最受欢迎的。分析句子可知,空处应使用非谓语动词。由于release与所修饰词movies之间是被动关系,应使用过去分词,作后置定语。故填released。
37.【解析】考查定语从句连接词。句意:这部穿越喜剧《你好,李焕英》以远远落后于《唐人街探案3》的第二名,拉开春节假期的帷幕,突然名列前茅。分析句子并根据空前的逗号可知,空处应使用which引导非限制性定语从句,修饰先行词Hi,
Mom。故填which。
38.【解析】考查形容词。句意:这个出人意料变化暗示着《你好,李焕英》已经成为中国农历新年的最爱。结合语境并分析句子可知,空处应使用形容词unexpected,作定语,修饰名词change。故填unexpected。
39.【解析】考查现在完成时。句意:事实上,《你好,李焕英》这部电影是目前为止用户评价最好的电影。根据空后的by
far可知,空处应使用现在完成时。由于the
movie为第三人称单数,其后谓语动词也应使用第三人称单数形式。故填has
received。
40.【解析】考查不定冠词。句意:这部电影由中国喜剧演员贾玲饰演一个孝顺的女儿,她的母亲在一次事故中突然去世,她的世界被颠覆了。daughter为可数名词,不特指。其前应使用不定冠词修饰。由于devoted为辅音音素开头,故填a。
41.【解析】考查反身代词。句意:在一种情感危机的状态下,她发现自己神秘地回到了1981年,在那里她遇到了她的妈妈
(张小斐饰演)和她年轻时的社交圈。分析句子可知,空处应使用反身代词,作find的宾语。故填herself。
42.【解析】考查现在分词。句意:贾玲的角色试图利用来自未来的想法来改善母亲的生活,但是她的计划屡屡出错。根据空前的介词by可知,空处应使用动名词作宾语。故填using。
43.【解析】考查副词。句意:贾玲形容这部电影是为了纪念她现实生活中的母亲,母亲在贾玲19岁时悲惨地去世了。应使用副词修饰动词短语passed
away。故填tragically。
44.【解析】考查介词。句意:这也是根据她在2016年浙江卫视的热门综艺节目《欢乐喜剧人》第一季中表演的一个喜剧片段大致改编的。be
based
on为固定搭配,意为“以…为基础,依据…”。故填on。
45.【解析】考查名词。句意:由于《你好,李焕英》的表演令人印象深刻,贾玲已经是中国有史以来最成功的商业化女导演。根据空前的Hi,
Mom's可知,空处应使用不可数名词performance。故填performance。
