课标分解
二、教材分析：
本模块以世界不同地区的人们在同一时间做某事为主题，利用世界各地不同文化带给学生新奇感来激发学生的好奇心，为语言学习创造积极的环境。
第一单元介绍的是贝蒂和母亲电话交流她和同学们郊游长城的活动，在对话中贝蒂向母亲介绍同学们分别在做什么，贝蒂的母亲对中国长城很感兴趣，希望她能拍一些长城的照片用Email寄给自己，这说明长城不仅是中国人的骄傲，也是世界的奇迹，深受国际友人的喜爱。在教学过程中，我们需要抓住这一点，融入长城的介绍，借此培养学生的民族自豪感。
三、学情分析
知识水平
学生对现在进行时态和现在分词的变化规则比较熟悉，大多数学生能够在表达中正确运用，但部分学生基础偏弱。
学习障碍
学生根据语境猜测词意的能力有待提高；听取关键词能力需要加强训练；英语学习习惯有待养成。
生活体验
本单元的郊游话题是学生们日常生活中比较常见的，也是他们感兴趣的，所以学生的热情较高，大多数学生都能积极参与到课堂活动中来。
