am 只效忠于第一人称I,绝无二心。如:I’m a student. 我是一名学生。
2. is交结甚广,可以为广大的第三人称单数he, she, it及单数名词服务,也可与指示代词this和that搭档。但他从不与一、二人称来往。如:He is from Shanghai. 他来自上海。This is a new book. 这是一本新书。

am, is, are“能征善战”。
只要句中有am, is, are, 变否定句、疑问句“易如反掌”。
1. 肯定句变否定句,把否定词not直接加在am, is, are的后面。如:I am late today. → I am not late today.; He is my good friend. → He isn’t my good friend.
2. 陈述句变疑问句,把be提到主语前,首字母大写,第一人称往往变为第二人称,句末加问号。如:Daming is in Class Two. → Is Daming in Class Two ; We are Americans. → Are you Americans
am, is, are与好朋友“亲密无间”。
am, is, are 生性平易近人,经常与主语或否定词缩写。am, is, are与作主语的名词或代词可以缩写在一起,去掉am, is, are的第一个字母,用“’”代替。即am→’m, are →’re, is →’s。is, are与not在一起时,也可以缩写,即去掉not中的o,用“’”代替。如:is not → isn’t, are not → aren’t。
温馨提示:am, is, are 也坚信“距离产生美”:1. am与not之间没有缩写;2. I am放在句末时不能缩写;3. this, these, those不能与is或are缩写;4. 当两个或两个以上的名词或代词作主语时,be动词不能与主语缩写。5. 一般疑问句的肯定回答中,句子末尾的am, is, are不能与主语缩写。

Task 1 玩游戏,引新课:
先玩一个猜测游戏:What’s his / her name 通过一系列的中英文名字的呈现,引出新课的内容:中英文名字的区别。然后列举了几个名字让同学们判断是中文名字还是英文名字,姓和名分别是什么。

Task 2 制作创意姓名卡。
所谓创意姓名卡就是随便学生发挥自己的想象,可以假设自己是某动画人物,也可以是某种动植物、食物、水果、名人、影星、政界要人等,只要自己喜欢都行,然后制作一张姓名卡。
设置这一活动的目的主要是让小孩的天性如天真活泼、创造力、想象力不至于在现行的方方正正中规中矩的教育中被抹杀,反而得到更大的发展。
