本课是北师大版《初中英语》七年级上册教材（第十一册）Unit4
Interests

skills的Communication
Workshop部分,本单元话题为兴趣爱好和特长技能。本课是本单元的最后一部分，在本单元前三课的学习中，学生已通过阅读和听力活动进行了语言学习和初步应用，主要学习内容是简单描述个人的兴趣爱好、擅长的事和特长技能。本课是单元学习内容的综合运用与输出，旨在结合话题培养学生写作和口语表达能力。在本节课中，学生要通过仿照范文以书面的形式介绍自己和朋友的兴趣爱好和特长技能，并就此话题与同伴进行口头表达和交流。
学情分析
学生在小学阶段学过相关话题的词汇和简单表达，有一定的基础，并且本册书前几个单元中已经学习了关于个人信息、喜好、技能的词汇和句式，学生能够进行自我介绍，所以在本节课中不再让学生进行自我介绍短文的书写，为学生减少了学习本节课内容的障碍。根据学生的年龄特点，本节课学习中采用同伴互助学习的方式，既能给学生提供互相交流和帮助的机会，又能增加学生学习和使用英语语言的信心和勇气。在功能句的复习和学习中，让学生在语境中学会和恰当使用重点语法点和功能句。在口语练习的基础上再让学生进行写作，降低了难度，也增强了学生的自信心。
