英语试题
考试时间:100分钟;
第I卷(选择题)
一、阅读理解(每题2分,共15小题)
A
Why
You
Should
Celebrate
Your
Mistakes
When
you
make
a
mistake,
big
or
small,
cherish
(珍视)
it
like
it's
the
most
precious
thing
in
the
world,
because
in
some
ways,
it
is.
Most
of
us
feel
bad
when
we
make
mistakes,
beat
ourselves
up
about
it,
feel
like
failures,
get
mad
at
ourselves.
And
that's
only
natural:
most
of
us
have
been
taught
from
a
young
age
that
mistakes
are
bad,
that
we
should
try
to
avoid
mistakes.
We've
been
scolded
when
we
make
mistakes
at
home,
school
and
work.
Maybe
not
always,
but
probably
enough
times
to
make
feeling
bad
about
mistakes
an
unconscious
reaction.
Yet
without
mistakes,
we
could
not
learn
or
grow.
If
you
think
about
it
that
way,
mistakes
should
be
cherished
and
celebrated
for
being
one
of
the
most
amazing
things
in
the
world:
they
make
learning
possible;
they
make
growth
and
improvement
possible.
By
trial
and
error-trying
things,
making
mistakes,
and
learning
from
those
mistakes—we
have
figured
out
how
to
make
electric
light,
to
paint
the
ceiling
of
the
Sistine
Chapel,
to
fly.
Mistakes
make
walking
possible
for
the
smallest
toddler,
make
speech
possible,
make
works
of
genius
possible.
Think
about
how
we
learn:
we
don't
just
consume
information
about
something
and
instantly
know
it
or
know
how
to
do
it.
You
don't
just
read
about
painting,
or
writing,
or
computer
programming,
or
baking,
or
playing
the
piano,
and
know
how
to
do
them
right
away.
Instead,
you
get
information
about
something,
from
reading
or
from
another
person
or
from
observing
usually...then
you
construct
a
model
in
your
mind...then
you
test
it
out
by
trying
it
in
the
real
world...then
you
make
mistakes...then
you
revise
the
model
based
on
the
results
of
your
real-world
experimentation
and
repeat,
making
mistakes,
learning
from
those
mistakes,
until
you've
pretty
much
learned
how
to
do
something.
That's
how
we
learn
as
babies
and
toddlers,
and
how
we
learn
as
adults.
Mistakes
are
how
we
learn
to
do
something
new,
because
if
you
succeed
in
something,
it's
probably
something
you
already
knew
how
to
do.
You
haven't
really
grown
much
from
that
success—at
most
it's
the
last
step
on
your
journey,
not
the
whole
journey.
Most
of
the
journey
was
made
up
of
mistakes,
if
it's
a
good
journey.
So
if
you
value
learning,
if
you
value
growing
and
improving,
then
you
should
value
mistakes.
They
are
amazing
things
that
make
a
world
of
brilliance
possible.
1.
Why
do
most
of
us
feel
bad
about
making
mistakes?
A.
Because
mistakes
make
us
suffer
a
lot.
B.
Because
it's
a
natural
part
in
our
life.
C.
Because
we've
been
taught
so
from
a
young
age.
D.
Because
mistakes
have
ruined
many
people's
careers.
2.
According
to
the
passage,
what
is
the
right
attitude
to
mistakes?
A.
We
should
try
to
avoid
making
mistakes.
B.
We
should
owe
great
inventions
mainly
to
mistakes.
C.
We
should
treat
mistakes
as
good
chances
to
learn.
D.
We
should
make
feeling
bad
about
mistakes
an
unconscious
reaction.
3.

from
a
young
age
that
mistakes
are
bad,
that
we

They
also
took

Czeisler

go
on,
in
the

to
note:“Reading

However,
software

10.late→later
【解析】
【分析】本文是记叙文。文章描述了作者亲眼看到的一场火灾经历及消防员勇敢救火的经过。
【详解】1.考查固定搭配。句意:今天早上大约九点钟,我在去超市的路上。on
one’s
way
to“在去的路上”后面加名词;如果后面加副词就不需加to,此处后面是名词the
supermarket要加to,故way后加to。
2.考查时态。句意:突然,我看到几百米外冒出浓烟。文中时间状语是This
morning表过去时,文中已给时态也是过去时,故see
改为saw。
3.考查名词。句意:突然,我看到几百米外冒出浓烟。hundred.前面有具体数字,hundred不加复数用单数;如果前面没有具体数字表概数要用hundreds
of表示“几百”,此处前边有several,故hundreds
改为hundred。
4.考查主谓一致。句意:有许多人站在路边观看。there
be句型要遵循就近一致原则,动词be的具体形式要根据后面名词确定,此处名词是many
people是复数动词be也用过去时的复数,故was
改为were.
5.考查非谓语动词。句意:有许多人站在路边观看。观看和人们是主动关系,用现在分词做定语,故watched
改为watching。
6.考查宾语从句。句意:我听到有人说,他们已经战斗了大约一个小时,两名消防员冲进商店去救一名妇女。句中动词say后加宾语从句,they
had
fought
for
about
an
hour和two
firefighters
had
rushed
into
the
shop
to
rescue
a
woman.是并列的宾语从句,引导词that引导第一个宾语从句可省略,但引导第二个不能省略,故an
hour
and
后加that。
7.考查非谓语动词。句意:过了一会儿,他们冲出来支持那个女人。消防员和搀扶着是主动关系,用现在分词表示主动,故support
改为supporting。
8.考查副词。句意:但是一名消防员受了重伤。此处修饰动词got
injured要用副词,指“严重受伤”,故serious
改为seriously。
9.考查定语从句。句意:所有看到这一切的人和我都被他们的勇敢深深感动了。此句包含定语从句,先行词是All
the
people
and
I,定语从句中做主语,关系代词用who/that.
whom在句中做宾语,故whom改为who/that。
10.考查副词。句意:大约20分钟后,火终于被扑灭了。late
是形容词“晚的”,表示20分钟后用twenty
minutes
later,故late
改为later。

A
Why
You
Should
Celebrate
Your
Mistakes
When
you
make
a
mistake,
big
or
small,
cherish
(珍视)
it
like
it's
the
most
precious
thing
in
the
world,
because
in
some
ways,
it
is.
Most
of
us
feel
bad
when
we
make
mistakes,
beat
ourselves
up
about
it,
feel
like
failures,
get
mad
at
ourselves.
And
that's
only
natural:
most
of
us
have
been
taught
from
a
young
age
that
mistakes
are
bad,
that
we
should
try
to
avoid
mistakes.
We've
been
scolded
when
we
make
mistakes
at
home,
school
and
work.
Maybe
not
always,
but
probably
enough
times
to
make
feeling
bad
about
mistakes
an
unconscious
reaction.
Yet
without
mistakes,
we
could
not
learn
or
grow.
If
you
think
about
it
that
way,
mistakes
should
be
cherished
and
celebrated
for
being
one
of
the
most
amazing
things
in
the
world:
they
make
learning
possible;
they
make
growth
and
improvement
possible.
By
trial
and
error-trying
things
making
mistakes,
and
learning
from
those
mistakes—we
have
figured
out
how
to
make
electric
light,
to
paint
the
ceiling
of
the
Sistine
Chapel,
to
fly.
Mistakes
make
walking
possible
for
the
smallest
toddler,
make
speech
possible,
make
works
of
genius
possible.
Think
about
how
we
learn:
we
don't
just
consume
information
about
something
and
instantly
know
it
or
know
how
to
do
it.
You
don't
just
read
about
painting,
or
writing,
or
computer
programming,
or
baking,
or
playing
the
piano,
and
know
how
to
do
them
right
away.
Instead,
you
get
information
about
something,
from
reading
or
from
another
person
or
from
observing
usually...then
you
construct
a
model
in
your
mind...then
you
test
it
out
by
trying
it
in
the
real
world...then
you
make
mistakes...then
you
revise
the
model
based
on
the
results
of
your
real-world
experimentation
and
repeat,
making
mistakes,
learning
from
those
mistakes,
until
you've
pretty
much
learned
how
to
do
something.
That's
how
we
learn
as
babies
and
toddlers,
and
how
we
learn
as
adults.
Mistakes
are
how
we
learn
to
do
something
new,
because
if
you
succeed
in
something,
it's
probably
something
you
already
knew
how
to
do.
You
haven't
really
grown
much
from
that
success—at
most
it's
the
last
step
on
your
journey,
not
the
whole
journey.
Most
of
the
journey
was
made
up
of
mistakes,
if
it's
a
good
journey.
So
if
you
value
learning,
if
you
value
growing
and
improving,
then
you
should
value
mistakes.
They
are
amazing
things
that
make
a
world
of
brilliance
possible.
