结合英语学科核心素养，结合本课太空话题，对文章结构进行分析，利用层层深入的课堂教学活动，引导学生学习有关太空知识，发展语言技能，提升思维品质。

以“space”话题为主，Lesson
10主要介绍太空中的生活。
本课是阅读课，侧重对课文的理解。本文共五段。第一段为引入段，第二、三、四、五段分别对宇航员的生活不同方面的介绍。学生通过阅读策略获取文章所涉及的领域，再通过阅读，逐步搜索细节信息。在阅读过程中，讲解生词并运用推断等技巧完成练习3、4、5的习题。
学情分析
授课班级是初三（2）班。大多数学生学习积极性较高，比较活跃，有一定语言基础。经过将近三年的阅读训练，大部分学生已具备基本的读与写的技能。学生对太空的话题比较熟悉，之前的英语学习中也有所涉及，因此有一定的语言支持，但仅限于对阅读材料的理解。对文章的结构、层次不能进行有效的梳理。对获取的知识缺乏灵活应用的能力。因此，教学中要多做铺垫引导学生理清文章结构。同时在教学中注意个人学习和小组合作学习相结合，共同完成学习任务。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时，学生能够：
1.熟读文章中所出现的词汇（重点）。
2.通过梳理文章结构，获取文中涉及到的宇航员的各个方面（重点）
3.根据阅读，获取宇航员生活的具体信息。（难点）
4.了解航天员的生活，激励学生刻苦学习，并对航天工作者表示敬意。
