涉及本课阅读技能:
1.从简单的文章中找出有关信息,理解大意。
2.根据上下文猜测生词含义和推断故事情节。
本节课将引导学生观察图片,阅读两个小故事,获取相关信息,理解故事情节;并根据已知信息猜测生词含义,最后按照图片和给出的关键词复述故事。
教材分析
本课是北师大2011课标版初中英语九年级第四单元第12课,课型为阅读课。本课是一篇科幻故事类文章,围绕中考课标中第20个话题“自然(Nature)”下的小话题“宇宙(Universe)”
,训练学生的逻辑思维和推断的能力。虽然关于太空的话题不太贴近学生的日常生活,但是教材将其包裹在男孩Billy和小狗Oscar的一次平常的遭遇中,易于可以激发学生的学习兴趣和想象力。
本课的教学设计分为两个课时。本节课为第一课时,通过图片和文字阅读,逐步引起学生的好奇心,激发学生发现问题和提出问题的兴趣,并通过小组合作阅读、讨论等方式自主找到问题的答案。
教学目标
本节课结束后,学生能够
读懂男孩Billy和小狗Oscar遭遇的看似平常其实暗藏隐情的小故事;
在小组阅读的过程中,通过对关键词的推断和猜测,发现问题、提出问题并

A
spaceship

planet.

spaceship,
the
captain

planet

ready

land.

captain
was
alive
in
the
spaceship.
“I
am
alone,
but
I
will
find
the
strongest
creature
and
control
it.
Then
I
will
control
the
planet.”
The
captain
got
out
of
his
spaceship.
His
spacesuit
was
uncomfortable.
The
air
was
fresh
on
this
planet
and
he
didn’t
take
off
his
spacesuit.
He
saw
huge
green
leaves
everywhere.

climbed

top
of
one
of
them
and
looked
at

sky.

was
dark
blue.

captain

a
huge
monster.

jumped
onto
its
