she
was

that
time,her
best
friend
had
been
diagnosed
(诊断)
with
a
mental
health
condition,and
that
was
the
first
time
she
was
made
aware
of
what
mental
illness
was.She
wanted
to
learn

and
develop
a
good
support

for
her.
Mental

a
substitute
for
therapy
(治疗)
or
other
types
of
mental

care,and
it
directs
people
to

friend.On
the
day
when
Buddy
Project
was
launched,she
used
her
powerful
social

presence
to
attract
nearly
3,000
participants.“This
was
around
the
time
when
teens
really
began
talking
about
mental
health
and
found
a
supportive
community
online
to
talk
about
it,”
she
said.
One
of
the
biggest
social
barriers
she
had
to
jump
over
was
that
people
didn’t
view
her
seriously
because
she
was
a
15-year-old
girl,and
even
now,she’s
still
a
young
woman.“Sometimes
it’s
frustrating
because
people
don’t
think
what
I
do
is
needed
or
they
don’t
think
I’m
professional,”she
said.“Most
people
are
blown
away
that
a
20-year-old
girl
is
running
this
and
that
it’s
one
person
doing
this
but
not
a
whole
team.I’m
just
lucky
that
I’ve
found
a
support
system
that
has
been
able
to
help
my
mom
and
me
with
the
project.”

World
Environment
Day
is
celebrated
annually
on
June
5th
and
was
created
to
inspire
people
around
the
globe
to
take
an
active
part
in
environmental
protection
and
learn
more
about
ways
we
can
help
to
guarantee
the
future
of
our
planet
is
safe.
The
very
first
World
Environment
Day
took
place
in
1974,established
by
the
United
Nations
General
Assembly
on
the
first
day
of
the
Stockholm
Conference
on
the
Human
Environment
that
took
place
in
1972.Each
year
the
United
Nations
pick
a
theme
and
a
host
city
where
anyone
who
is
concerned
about
the
environment
can
talk
about
environmental
topics
with
others,followed
by
different
kinds
of
exhibits
to
promote
environmental
awareness.Environmentalists,academics
and
scientists
come
together
to
bring
new
ideas
on
the
table
concerning
the
environment.
The
2018
World
Environment
Day
is
hosted
by
India,and
the
theme
is
Beat
Plastic
Pollution.It
urges
people
to
explore
and
choose
supportable
alternatives
like
paper
or
cloth
bags
to
reduce
the
production
and
use
of
disposable
plastic,which
makes
up
10%
of
all
of
the
waste.Even
though
the
United
Nations
pick
a
specific
host
city
every
year,people
around
the
world
still
celebrate
World
Environment
Day
in
their
hometowns
with
parades(游行),concerts,cleaning
up
and
tree
planting
and
all
kinds
of
green
actions
to
work
towards
having
a
beautiful
planet
and
battling
pollution.
World
Environment
Day
is
not
a
public
holiday,so
you
won’t
be
getting
the
day
off
work
or
school,but
if
you
want
to
celebrate,why
not
bring
it
to
the
attention
of
your
parents,friends,colleagues
or
classmates World
Environment
Day
is
all
about
working
together
to
take
action
for
the
planet,so
try
to
get
everyone
you
know
interested
in
helping
do
something.Things
as
small
as
making
sure
people
have
a
way
to
recycle
can
make
a
difference.You
could
also
try
beautifying
your
neighborhood
by
planting
gardens,learn
about
green
foods,raise
money
for
a
local
wildlife
conservation
group
or
simply
learn
about
the
effects
of
different
products
on
the
earth.
28.Why
is
World
Environment
Day
set
up
A.To
make
people
know
more
about
nature.
B.To
ask
people
to
help
to
protect
the
globe.
C.To
warn
people
of
the
danger
of
air
pollution.
D.To
encourage
people
to
plan
the
earth’s
future.
29.What
do
people
do
on
World
Environment
Day
A.Decide
a
host
city.
B.Hold
a
theme
party.
C.Discuss
environmental
ideas.
D.Show
some
plastic
products.
30.Which
of
the
following
words
is
the
closest
in
meaning
to
“disposable”
in
Paragraph
3
A.High-cost. B.Poor-quality.
C.Second-hand.
D.Single-use.
31.What’s
the
main
idea
of
the
last
paragraph
A.Every
bit
of
effort
counts.
B.Doing
is
better
than
saying.
C.Many
hands
make
light
work.
D.Nothing
is
impossible
to
a
willing
heart.
D
One
of
the
easiest
ways
to
stop
the
spread
of
disease
is
to
simply
wash
your
hands.Twenty
seconds
of
handwashing
with
soap
and
water
can
reduce
illnesses
and
save
lives.But,many
people,especially
children,do
not
have
good
handwashing
habits.One
problem
is
that
children
do
not
wash
their
hands
often
enough
or
long
enough.Children
may
think
that
it
is
a
tiresome
thing
to
do.
To
help
handle
this
problem,two
businesswomen
from
India
created
a
product
to
turn
handwashing
into
a
fun
activity.Amanat
Anand
and
Shubham
Issar
created
a
tool
called
SoaPen,aimed
at
teaching
kids
good
handwashing
habits
and
encouraging
kids
to
wash
their
hands
with
soap
appropriately
and
regularly.
“It’s
such
a
simple
habit
to
do,but
the
fact
is
that
people
aren’t
doing
it,and
it’s
resulting
in
actual
deaths—which
is
shocking.So,we
decided
to
come
up
with
a
fun
method,”said
Issar.
As
the
name
suggests,SoaPen
is
a
pen
made
out
of
soap.The
children
draw
on
their
hands
with
the
soap
pen
and
then
wash
the
drawing
off.If
they
don’t
spend
enough
time
washing
it
off,the
colors
remain
on
the
children’s
hands.Issar
said
it
makes
sure
that
children
take
enough
time
to
wash
their
hands.This
may
be
especially
helpful
in
a
classroom.Often
a
teacher
does
not
have
the
time
to
make
each
child
wash
his
hands
properly.
Kids
actually
wash
their
hands
for
the
proper
amount
of
time
because
they’re
drawing
on
their
hands.To
obliterate
the
drawing,they
actually
wash
their
hands
instead
of
just
going
under
water
and,you
know,a
one-second
wash
and
off.
Good
news
is
that
the
school
children
in
Mumbai,India,will
soon
most
likely
wash
their
hands
after
handling
a
pet.Issar
and
Anand
stated
that
SoaPen
to
be
created
everywhere
will
help
promote
good
habits
through
handwashing
in
the
city
across
the
globe.
32.Why
does
SoaPen
come
into
existence
A.To
cure
kids
of
some
kinds
of
diseases.

teach
kids
the

of
soap.

think
SoaPen

a
bright
future.

One
of
the
biggest
social

she
had
to

that
people

because
she

a
young

it’s

World
Environment
Day
is
celebrated
annually
on
June
5th
and
was
created
to
inspire
people
around
the
globe
to
take
an
active
part
in
environmental
protection
and
learn
more
about
ways
we
can
help
to
guarantee
the
future
of
our
planet
is
safe.
The
very
first
World
Environment
Day
took
place
in
1974,established
by
the
United
Nations
General
Assembly
on
the
first
day
of
the
Stockholm
Conference
on
the
Human
Environment
that
took
place
in
1972.Each
year
the
United
Nations
pick
a
theme
and
a
host
city
where
anyone
who
is
concerned
about
the
environment
can
talk
about
environmental
topics
with
others,followed
by
different
kinds
of
exhibits
to
promote
environmental
awareness.Environmentalists,academics
and
scientists
come
together
to
bring
new
ideas
on
the
table
concerning
the
environment.
The
2018
World
Environment
Day
is
hosted
by
India,and
the
theme
is
Beat
Plastic
Pollution.It
urges
people
to
explore
and
choose
supportable
alternatives
like
paper
or
cloth
bags
to
reduce
the
production
and
use
of
disposable
plastic,which
makes
up
10%
of
all
of
the
waste.Even
though
the
United
Nations
pick
a
specific
host
city
every
year,people
around
the
world
still
celebrate
World
Environment
Day
in
their
hometowns
with
parades(游行),concerts,cleaning
up
and
tree
planting
and
all
kinds
of
green
actions
to
work
towards
having
a
beautiful
planet
and
battling
pollution.
World
Environment
Day
is
not
a
public
holiday,so
you
won’t
be
getting
the
day
off
work
or
school,but
if
you
want
to
celebrate,why
not
bring
it
to
the
attention
of
your
parents,friends,colleagues
or
classmates World
Environment
Day
is
all
about
working
together
to
take
action
for
the
planet,so
try
to
get
everyone
you
know
interested
in
helping
do
something.Things
as
small
as
making
sure
people
have
a
way
to
recycle
can
make
a
difference.You
could
also
try
beautifying
your
neighborhood
by
planting
gardens,learn
about
green
foods,raise
money
for
a
local
wildlife
conservation
group
or
simply
learn
about
the
effects
of
different
products
on
the
earth.
28.Why
is
World
Environment
Day
set
up
A.To
make
people
know
more
about
nature.
B.To
ask
people
to
help
to
protect
the
globe.
C.To
warn
people
of
the
danger
of
air
pollution.
D.To
encourage
people
to
plan
the
earth’s
future.
29.What
do
people
do
on
World
Environment
Day
A.Decide
a
host
city.
B.Hold
a
theme
party.
C.Discuss
environmental
ideas.
D.Show
some
plastic
products.
30.Which
of
the
following
words
is
the
closest
in
meaning
to
“disposable”
in
Paragraph
3
A.High-cost. B.Poor-quality.
C.Second-hand.
D.Single-use.
31.What’s
the
main
idea
of
the
last
paragraph
A.Every
bit
of
effort
counts.
B.Doing
is
better
than
saying.
C.Many
hands
make
light
work.
D.Nothing
is
impossible
to
a
willing
heart.
D
One
of
the
easiest
ways
to
stop
the
spread
of
disease
is
to
simply
wash
your
hands.Twenty
seconds
of
handwashing
with
soap
and
water
can
reduce
illnesses
and
save
lives.But,many
people,especially
children,do
not
have
good
handwashing
habits.One
problem
is
that
children
do
not
wash
their
hands
often
enough
or
long
enough.Children
may
think
that
it
is
a
tiresome
thing
to
do.
To
help
handle
this
problem,two
businesswomen
from
India
created
a
product
to
turn
handwashing
into
a
fun
activity.Amanat
Anand
and
Shubham
Issar
created
a
tool
called
SoaPen,aimed
at
teaching
kids
good
handwashing
habits
and
encouraging
kids
to
wash
their
hands
with
soap
appropriately
and
regularly.
“It’s
such
a
simple
habit
to
do,but
the
fact
is
that
people
aren’t
doing
it,and
it’s
resulting
in
actual
deaths—which
is
shocking.So,we
decided
to
come
up
with
a
fun
method,”said
Issar.
As
the
name
suggests,SoaPen
is
a
pen
made
out
of
soap.The
children
draw
on
their
hands
with
the
soap
pen
and
then
wash
the
drawing
off.If
they
don’t
spend
enough
time
washing
it
off,the
colors
remain
on
the
children’s
hands.Issar
said
it
makes
sure
that
children
take
enough
time
to
wash
their
hands.This
may
be
especially
helpful
in
a
classroom.Often
a
teacher
does
not
have
the
time
to
make
each
child
wash
his
hands
properly.
Kids
actually
wash
their
hands
for
the
proper
amount
of
time
because
they’re
drawing
on
their
hands.To
obliterate
the
drawing,they
actually
wash
their
hands
instead
of
just
going
under
water
and,you
know,a
one-second
wash
and
off.
Good
news
is
that
the
school
children
in
Mumbai,India,will
soon
most
likely
wash
their
hands
after
handling
a
pet.Issar
and
Anand
stated
that
SoaPen
to
be
created
everywhere
will
help
promote
good
habits
through
handwashing
in
the
city
across
the
globe.
32.Why
does
SoaPen
come
into
existence
A.To
cure
kids
of
some
kinds
of
diseases.
B.To
teach
kids
the
importance
of
soap.

Most
people
today
cannot
imagine
the
world
without
computers,and
especially
the
Internet.If
such
modern
IT
advantages
disappear,the
world
will
go
back
to
the
colonial(殖民的)
times,in
which
information
was
not
available
to
the
public
and
the
only
knowledge
that
one
was
given
was
that
received
at
school.In
the
world
today,computers
with
different
applications
and
the
Internet
have
made
absolutely
all
the
information
available
nearly
to
everyone
in
the
world.They
have
made
everything
easier,and
often
the
decision
to
employ
the
use
of
a
computer
leads
to
time
saving.People,like
the
freelancers(自由职业者),can
work
comfortably
at
home
and
earn
much
more
money
than
those
who
go
to
work
on
the
daily
routine.
In
addition
to
that,people
are
using
computers
to
pay
bills.In
ancient
times,people
had
to
go
physically
to
the
payment
bureau(付款处)
to
pay
their
bills.Internet
and
credit
card
transactions(交易)
can
be
used
to
pay
bills
instantly
from
the
comfort
of
one’s
seat
at
home
or
office
and
what
you
need
to
do
is
just
click
the
mouse.
The
computers
have
also
controlled
the
world
in
so
many
ways
that
it
is
hard
to
imagine
the
world
without
them.The
computer
is
becoming
addictive
to
people.There
are
people,living
all
over
the
world,that
can’t
just
finish
a
day
without
sitting
in
front
of
the
computer
to
either
play
games
or
listen
to
music.Children
that
once
used
to
go
to
the
playground
spend
most
of
the
time
indoors,either
playing
computer
games
or
chatting
with
friends
online.This
is
becoming
more
of
a
social
concern
than
it
is
considered.This
affects
most
children
negatively
because
children
that
are
used
to
playing
violent
video
games
that
involve
fighting,boxing,and
shooting
develop
characteristics
they
see
in
such
computer
puters
also
expose
children
to
developing
bad
behavior
at
a
young
age.Most
parents
fail
to
put
adequate
filters(过滤器)
to
deny
their
children
access
to
pornographic(色情的)
sites
on
the
Internet.This
negatively
affects
the
social
development
of
children.
