讲的是古时候女娲为了拯救处于水深火热中的人们，冒着生命危险补天的故事。
赞扬了女娲的勇敢、善良的品质；不怕危险、甘于奉献的精神。
女娲炼石补天，使天得以完整，此举拯救了人类，后人大多对女娲感恩戴德。
女娲还会一手绝活儿，她能用泥捏成人，并使泥人复活，后人都称女娲造就了人类。因此常有“人是泥做的”之说。其实，
所有这些传说都是人们虚拟的，根本无事实可言。但是在科学极为落后的古代，人们对这种传说还是认真地提出了许多疑问。
