教学材料:第11册,第5课,C部分:动物记录;F部分:我们的记录。
【本节课是在预习了C,F部分的基础上进行的展示、活动课。前段时间,学生学习了形容词比较级与最高级的基础句型和许多各种各样的记录。在C部分的预习课上,学生分组进行了:1、角色扮演;2、复习、收集前段时间学过的各种记录;3、阅读、整理C部分的核心信息。以小组为单位,将这些记录、信息做成作品。预习F部分时,学生学习了阅读表格,从表格中获取相关的信息。这一节课正是在这些活动的基础上开展的。】
Teaching aims(教学目标):
(1)知识目标:The students should be able to use what they have learnt in Part C and Part F to give presentations and describe the school records.
学生能够用C部分和前段时间所学的有关记录的知识进行展示;用F部分所学的知识描述学校各项运动项目的记录。
(2)情感目标:尽量激发学生学习英语的兴趣和热情。
(3)学习策略目标:改变传统的死记硬背,鼓励学生投入到语言的实践中去,在小组合作、同伴互助的过程中提高语言的综合使用能力,加深对基础知识的掌握和记忆。
(4)文化意识目标:使学生进一步了解在运动会中,大家都要有争取“更高、更快、更强”的意识和“积极参与、做到最好”的体育精神。
Difficult points(教学难点):
The expressions of records. (速度等记录的表达方式。)
To get information through reading. (通过阅读获取信息。)
Teaching aids(教具):
PPT(演示文稿) pictures (图片) worksheets(练习纸)等
Teaching methods(教学方法): 情景法、任务法、游戏法等。
Teaching steps(教学过程):
1. Pre-class activities(课前热身活动).
Sing a song: Record breakers. (“破记录的人”)
A chant: Good, better, best
Talk about the tallest、fastest students in our class.(谈论班上谁是长得最高、跑得最快的人。)
Present the picture of Bolt. Lead in the fastest people in the world.(展示博尔特的照片,他是世界上跑得最快的人。)
Who can run faster than Bolt --- Some animals.(谁能跑得比博尔特还快呢?)
2. Ready to give a presentation.(进行展示。)
The students give a presentation on Part C.
(在预习课的基础上,学生对C部分所学的内容进行展示。)
a. Watch the cartoon movie and answer a few questions to recall memories. (通过看卡通动画、回答老师的问题来重温课文内容。)
b. Introduce the special running race among people、horses and cheetahs;the special swimming race among people、sharks and sailfish. Who will win Two groups give a presentation. (人类、马和猎豹之间的赛跑;人类、鲨鱼和旗鱼之间的游泳比赛,谁能取得胜利呢?请一个小组用角色扮演、表演的形式对C部分进行展示。)
c. Other groups share their works in class.
(其他小组展示、张贴他们在预习课上完成的作品。)
3. We have learnt a lot about the records. But do you know about our school records (这段时间我们学习了许多各种各样的记录,我们学校体育节各个项目的记录大家知道吗?)
a. Students read a table about the school records and do the exercises below. They need to work in groups and help each other.
(学生阅读学校记录的表格,从中寻找需要的信息填入下面的文本中。)小组合作要求:
①组长逐一提问组员---组员回答---组长将答案填入空格中。
②倾听别的同学发言。
③热心帮助同学。
b. Ask one of the group leaders to give a report.(请其中的一位小组长上来展示。其他小组的作品收起来,课后交流反馈。)
4、Now it’s fun time. (通过游戏的方式复习巩固本课重点内容和前段时间所学的知识,以此激发学生学习的兴趣。)
5. Summary. (总结)
Today we shared the work on Part C and the records by means of role-playing, working in groups and playing games. We also learnt about Jinglian Records.
(今天我们通过表演、小组活动、游戏等形式复习、展示和梳理了C部分和前段时间所学的各种记录。了解了景莲小学运动方面的各种记录。)
6. Homework:
a. Surf the internet after class. Find out more records, then share with friends. (上网查找自己感兴趣的记录,下节课分享。)
(建议每组确定一个主题,查找某一类的记录,如运动类、动物类、食品类……)
