German
researchers

developed

liquid

preserve

soldiers'

colors
in
the
dirt
around
Xi'an's
terracotta
warriors.

important

disturb
the
dirt,

the
colors
won't
be

are
treating

earth

an
artifact,”

archeologist

Bo,
the
museum's
leading
chemist.

next
challenge,
says
Rong,
is
to
find

way
to
apply
the
colors
to
the
army

artists
