第二部分 阅读理解(共两节,满分35分)
第一节(共10小题;每小题2.5分,满分25分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A
“Hungary?”
I
looked
at
my
school
headmaster
in
confusion.
“I
never
mentioned
wanting
to
go
to
Hungary.”
And
with
that,
my
adventure
started.
My
name
is
Jonathan
Diamond
and
I
just
finished
an
amazing
school
exchange
year
in
Hungary.
Going
on
an
exchange
had
always
been
my
dream.
When
my
high
school
offered
an
all year
program,
I
jumped
at
the
opportunity.
It
would
pay
for
almost
everything
and
all
I
had
to
do
was
buy
a
plane
ticket.
I
knew
where
I
wanted
to
go:
Spain,
the
country
of
dancers
wearing
flowing
red
dresses.
So
when
I
heard
that
I
was
going
to
Hungary,
I
was
pretty
shocked.
But
I
decided
to
make
the
best
of
it,
since
it
was,
after
all,
a
once in a lifetime
opportunity.
Before
I
knew
it,
I
was
on
the
airplane,
leaving
for
Budapest
Ferenc
Liszt
International
Airport,
Hungary.
I
had
difficult
times
when
I
almost
gave
up.
Hungarian
is
the
hardest
language
on
the
planet.
Cultural
differences
occasionally
embarrassed
both
my
peers
and
me.
I
had
to
give
up
eating
carrots,
my
beautiful
favorite,
for
Hungarians
think
carrots
are
rubbish
in
their
country.
The
change
in
the
landscape
was
amazing,
looking
nothing
like
skyscrapers,
bullet
trains,
cars,
and
people
in
tiny
houses
that
I
had
been
accustomed
to.
Gradually,
I
fell
in
love
with
the
relaxing
lifestyle,
the
warm hearted
people,
and
getting
home
at
2:30
pm
at
the
latest
from
school.
And
I
was
sad
to
leave
on
my
very
last
day.
Having
the
host
family
who
took
me
as
one
of
their
own
members
was
the
best
thing
I've
ever
experienced.
From
my
little
sisters,
I
learned
how
to
embrace
life
to
its
fullest.
From
my
brothers
I
learned
that
it's
OK
for
a
boy
to
run
around
the
house.
From
my
host
parents
I
learned
to
stay
positive,
to
smile
and
that
when
you
pick
the
right
people
and
take
their
hands,
suddenly,
you
become
friends.
21.Why
did
Jonathan
still
decide
to
go
to
Hungary
instead
of
Spain
A.He
didn't
like
Spain.
B.He
wanted
to
learn
Hungarian.
C.It
was
a
rare
chance.
D.Going
to
hungary
was
much
cheaper.
22.What
can
we
learn
about
Jonathan
during
his
stay
in
Hungary
A.He
fell
in
love
with
eating
carrots.
B.He
couldn't
wait
to
leave.
C.He
was
surprised
by
the
landscape.
D.He
quickly
got
used
to
the
life
there.
23.According
to
Jonathan,
the
host
family
________.
A.changed
him
completely
B.taught
him
how
to
dance
well
C.treated
him
as
equally
as
a
student
D.showed
him
the
good
things
of
life
B
As
the
world
around
them
is
changing,
teenagers
continue
to
need
guidance
and
support
from
both
parents.
Studies
show
that
teens
who
have
an
active
relationship
with
their
fathers
are
less
likely
to
involve
(牵涉)
themselves
in
dangerous
behaviors
and
more
likely
to
succeed
in
school
and
develop
higher
self worth,
because
their
fathers
go
beyond
social
expectations
to
devote
attention
to
them.
Peer
(同龄人)
pressure
has
always
been
a
big
part
of
the
teens'
experience.
Even
the
best
father
can't
completely
protect
their
kids
from
the
growing
influence
of
their
peer
group.
However,
studies
show
that
teenagers
whose
fathers
focus
on
their
lives
are
more
likely
to
resist
(抵抗)
the
more
bad
effects
of
peer
pressure,
taking
drugs,
for
example.
Teens
may
not
like
to
admit
it,
but
they
are
watching
their
parents
closely
and
often
follow
their
example.
An
interesting
finding
explains
just
how
important
parents
are,
especially
Dad.
Swiss
researchers
discovered
that
if
Dad
attends
church,
even
though
Mom
doesn't,
44
percent
of
the
kids
are
still
more
likely
to
keep
going
to
church
as
adults.
But
if
Mom
goes
regularly
and
Dad
never
shows
up,
only
2
percent
of
the
kids
continue
to
attend.
Teenagers
face
a
lot
of
difficult
choices,
especially
in
their
later
teens.
Fathers
don't
get
to
make
those
choices
for
them,
but
they
can
be
influenced.
For
example,
teenagers
can
learn
a
lot
from
their
parents'
concern
on
what
to
do
when
they
finish
high
school.
Should
they
go
directly
to
college
and,
if
so,
where
Should
they
consider
going
to
trade
schools,
joining
the
army
or
looking
for
a
job
A
father's
guidance
brings
a
long term
perspective
that
teens
often
lack
to
these
important
decisions.
24.Teenagers
without
fathers'
focus
are
more
likely
to
________.
A.have
higher
self worth
B.experience
some
dangerous
things
C.become
the
best
students
in
school
D.resist
all
bad
effects
of
peer
pressure
25.What
does
the
third
paragraph
tell
us
A.More
teenagers
pay
no
attention
to
their
parents.
B.Teenagers
often
treat
their
fathers
as
role
models.
C.Teenagers
never
attend
church
with
their
mothers.
D.Fewer
teenagers
like
to
attend
church
with
their
fathers.
26.What
can
we
learn
from
the
text
A.Fathers
should
make
choices
for
teenagers
directly.
B.Teenagers
care
less
about
what
their
parents
do.
C.Mothers
have
no
effect
on
their
children's
life.
D.Teenagers
are
greatly
influenced
by
their
fathers.
C
Teens
and
younger
children
are
reading
a
lot
less
for
fun,
according
to
a
Common
Sense
Media
report
published
Monday.
While
the
decline
over
the
past
decade
is
steep
for
teen
readers,
some
data
in
the
report
shows
that
reading
remains
a
big
part
of
many
children's
lives,
and
indicates
how
parents
might
help
encourage
more
reading.
According
to
the
report's
key
findings,
“the
proportion
(比例)
who
say
they
‘hardly
ever’
read
for
fun
has
gone
from
8
percent
of
13 year olds
and
9
percent
of
17 year olds
in
1984
to
22
percent
and
27
percent
respectively
today.”
The
report
data
shows
that
pleasure
reading
levels
for
younger
children,
ages
2-8,
remain
largely
the
same.
But
the
amount
of
time
spent
in
reading
each
session
has
declined,
from
closer
to
an
hour
or
more
to
closer
to
a
half
hour
per
session.
When
it
comes
to
technology
and
reading,
the
report
does
little
to
counsel
(建议)
parents
looking
for
data
about
the
effect
of
e readers
and
tablets
on
reading.
It
does
point
out
that
many
parents
still
limit
electronic
reading,
mainly
due
to
concerns
about
increased
screen
time.
The
most
hopeful
data
shared
in
the
report
shows
clear
evidence
of
parents
serving
as
examples
and
important
guides
for
their
kids
when
it
comes
to
reading.
Data
shows
that
kids
and
teens
who
do
read
frequently,
compared
to
infrequent
readers,
have
more
books
in
the
home,
more
books
purchased
for
them,
parents
who
read
more
often,
and
parents
who
set
aside
time
for
them
to
read.
As
the
end
of
school
approaches,
and
school
vacation
reading
lists
loom
(逼近)
ahead,
parents
might
take
this
chance
to
step
in
and
make
their
own
summer
reading
list
and
plan
a
family
trip
to
the
library
or
bookstore.
27.What
is
the
Common
Sense
Media
report
probably
about
A.Children's
reading
habits.

of
children's
books.

after class
activities.
D.Parent child
relationships.

can
you
find
the
data
that
best
supports
“children
are
reading
a
lot
less
for
fun”?
A.In
Paragraph
2.
B.In
Paragraph
3.
C.In
Paragraph
4.
D.In
Paragraph
5.
29.Why
do
many
parents
limit
electronic
reading
A.E books
are
of
poor
quality.

could
be
a
waste
of
time.

may
harm
children's
health.

should
parents
encourage
their
children
to
read
more

as
role
models
for
them.
B.Ask
them
to
write
book
reports.
C.Set
up
reading
groups
for
them.

with

第二节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
Freshmen
anywhere
may
be
nervous
about
university
life.
Here,
three
pieces
of
advice
are
for
them.
Listen
but
don't
be
silent.
The
world
is
held
in
students'
hand
via
(通过)
smart
phones.
Thus,
they
may
consider
lecture
listening
less
important.
__31__
It
forces
students
to
face
the
difficulties
of
training
a
deep
attentiveness.
Unsurprisingly,
students
find
it
hard
to
speak
out,
ask
questions
or
for
points
of
clarification.
They
don't
want
to
appear
foolish
or
incapable.
However,
there
is
no
such
thing
as
a
foolish
question.
Teachers
are
there
to
help
you
understand.
This
also
goes
for
seminars
and
workshops.
__32__
Read
and
buy
books.
__33__
There're
so
many
useful
online
sources
today,
but
the
habit
of
reading
books,
especially
whole
books,
is
something
being
lost.
Buy
your
own
books.
There
are
many
bargains
to
be
found
on
used book
websites
or
through
Amazon.
Being
a
book
lover
and
buyer
will
help
any
student
get
the
most
out
of
their
education.
__34__
As
a
student,
you
don't
just
have
to
learn
to
listen
and
become
an
active
reader:
you
also
have
to
become
an
academic
writer.
Written
work
at
college
level
cannot
be
done
at
the
last
minute
or
in
a
rush.
It
takes
time.
Turn
to
your
teachers.
If
they
will
read
draft
essays
then
make
sure
you
can
get
feedback
(反馈)
ahead
of
the
final
submission.
__35__
Students
who
get
feedback
on
their
work
always
do
better
than
those
who
do
not.
It
is
one
of
the
few
educational
laws
that
holds
true
in
all
cases.
A.Don't
try
to
do
it
all
the
night
before.
B.However,
a
lecture
is
a
listening
workout.
C.Thinking
clearly
cannot
be
done
in
a
rush.
D.So
train
your
ear,
listen
carefully,
but
don't
be
silent.
E.Reading
is
the
most
important
thing
that
any
student
does.
F.Re writing
has
proved
to
be
the
turning
point
in
one's
degree.
G.If
they
won't
read
drafts,then
see
them
to
run
through
your
ideas.

was

with
the

memories
of
the
past.
I
walked
along
the
school

which

me
back
to

With
a
heavy
heart,
I
climbed
back
into

I
was
really
thankful
for
the
teachers
as
I
said
“goodbye”
to
the
place
that

so
much
to
me.
I
knew
I
would

it
for
a

and

2.可以适当增加细节,以使行文连贯。
第二节 概要写作(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
The
main
benefit
you
get
from
studying
abroad
is
independence.
It's
great
to
know
that
you
can
manage
on
your
own
when
necessary.
This
ability
gives
you
more
freedom
as
well
as
tolerance.
After
moving
abroad
you
have
to
start
a
totally
new
life.
Settling
in
a
new
environment
is
a
big
challenge
for
you,
but
you
have
to
keep
in
mind
that
it
is
only
a
small
part
of
studying
abroad,
and
experiences
like
these
can
help
you
build
your
character
and
understand
the
world
better.
When
I
went
abroad
I
knew
that
I
had
to
find
a
job
and
learn
to
handle
my
finances
myself.
I
did
not
have
a
choice.
I
had
to
manage
on
my
own.
I
found
a
job
as
a
mail
carrier
for
the
local
newspaper.
Not
all
my
co students
were
as
lucky
as
me
in
finding
a
job
right
away.
You
have
to
keep
in
mind
that
besides
working
you
have
to
attend
lectures
and
do
your
homework.
Carrying
mail
was
not
always
an
easy
job,
but
thanks
to
it
I
got
to
know
many
nice
people
and
saw
the
town
and
local
people
from
a
different
point
of
view.
Besides
looking
for
a
job,
I
also
had
to
find
a
place
to
live
and
take
care
of
everyday
chores
from
cooking
to
doing
the
laundry.
When
you
have
only
begun
with
your
independent
life,
this
can
be
quite
a
challenge.
You
don't
have
experience,
nor
does
anyone
give
a
helping
hand—you're
on
your
own.
So
it
might
happen
that
the
first
potato
you
fry
ends
up
being
darker
than
intended,
but
from
then
on
you
can
only
do
better.
All
the
trials
you
go
through
increase
your
independence,
teach
you
a
lesson
and
give
you
wonderful
experience
of
dealing
with
complicated
situations
in
the
future.
Learning
in
a
new
environment
and
taking
full
responsibility
for
yourself
make
your
time
abroad
quite
extraordinary.

W:Well,
the

Why
aren't

M:Oh,
I
don't

It

that
the
questions
were
too
hard,

I

they

you

M:They
want

They
think
it
would
be
helpful
and
practical,
not

for

also
for
my

sounds
reasonable.

W:I
want
to
be
a

you
are

kind

sports
after

Like
tennis,
running
and
golf.
I
think
they
are
some
of
the
gentle
ones.
W:Golf
That's
my
favorite
game.
How
often
do
you
play
it,
Mark
M:I
usually
play
about
once
a
month.
What
about
you,
Mary
W:I
play
at
the
Country
Club
every
Sunday,
even
when
it
rains.
I
never
miss
a
game
on
Sunday.
M:The
Country

I
was
there
once.
You're
going
to
play
next
Sunday,
I
suppose.
W:Why
don't
you
come
with
me
We
can
play
together.
M:I'd

to.
What
time
shall

at

W:Hey,
you

in

class,

M:Yeah.
I'm
in
there.
My

John.
W:Hi,
I'm
Jessica.
Are
you
a
literature
major,
too
I
love
to
read.
M:No,
I'm
actually
an
art
major.
I'm
just
taking
the
literature
class
because
I
enjoy
a
lot
of
Shakespeare's
plays.
W:My
favorite
is
Hamlet.
Have
you
read
it
M:Well,
I
saw
the
movie
version,
but
I
haven't
read
it.
I
know
that's
not
what
you
wanted
to
hear.
W:Well,
I
think
no
matter
whether
you
read
or
watch
it,
the
most
important
thing
is
that
you
experience
it
for
yourself.
M:We
talked
about
that
yesterday
in
class:
different
ways
to
experience
works
of
art.
W:Tell
me
about
your
painting.
M:I'm
learning
about
Pablo
Picasso,
the
famous
Spanish
artist.
W:So,
your
style
is
similar
to
his
M:All
I
can
say
is
that
I'm
trying
to
learn
from
his
works.
W:Oh,
I'm
late
for
my
biology
class.
Let's
talk
again
later!

I'm
really
looking

I've

a

of
good
things.
M:Have
you
read
Attachments
or
Landline
Those
are
some
of
my
favorite
Rainbow
Rowell's
novels.
You
should
read
those
as
well.
W:I
haven't
read
them,
but
I've
read
Fangirl,
which
I
loved.
M:I
haven't
read
that
one.
Oh,
it
looks
like
your
card
has
to
be
renewed.
Are
you
still
at
your
same
address
W:Yes,
I
am.
M:Okay,
you're
all
set.
Would
you
like
a
receipt
W:No,
thanks.
By
the
way,
do
you
have
a
list
of
the
classes
you
offer
I
couldn't
find
anything
on
the
website.
M:We've
been
meaning
to
get
that
information
up
on
the
site.
Here's
a
list.
Most
of
our
classes
are
held
on
Mondays
and
Wednesdays.
Occasionally,
we
have
a
class
on
Friday,
but
it's
rare.
W:Thank
you.
I'm
interested
in
taking
a
Photoshop
class.
M:Oh,
yes,
that
has
been
popular
for
a
while
now.
We're
offering
a
new
course
starting
next
Monday.
It
will
be
every
Monday
for
six
weeks.
We
also
have
photography
and
digital
design,
if
you're
interested.
W:I
think
I'll
start
with
Photoshop
first.
Thanks
for
your
help.

M:Hi,
my
name
is
William
Jackins.
I'm
a
life
and
relationship
coach
and
the
owner
of
New
York
Dating
Coach
in
New
York
City.
Now
we'll
talk
about
making
a
good
first
impression.
You
only
get
one
chance
to
do
that,
right?
A
really
great
way
to
make
a
good
first
impression
is
to
make
eye
contact
and
to
show
real
interest
in
the
person
you're
meeting.
It's
important
to
remember
their
names.
When
you
first
meet
somebody,
you
should
use
their
names
during
the
conversation
to
let
them
know
that
you
remember
their
names.
You
should
also
allow
them
to
have
the
spotlight.
You
can
share
information
about
yourself,
but
don't
control
the
conversation;
it's
not
all
about
you.
Even
if
you're
the
most
interesting
person
in
the
world,
people
want
to
talk
about
themselves,
too.
So
be
a
great
listener,
ask
questions
and
really
make
a
point
of
getting
to
know
the
other
person.
And
you
know,
people
like
to
talk
about
themselves.
So
if
you
let
them
do
that,
then
they're
going
to
like
you.
Finally,
make
sure
you
dress
nicely
and
have
good
posture.
Don't
be
negative
and
don't
complain;
no
one
wants
to
hear
your
problems.
Just
be
positive,
be
yourself
and
be
a
good
listener.

Dear
John,
I
am
really
sorry
to
hear
that
you
feel
bad
after
entering
high
school.
I'd
like
to
talk
about
it
with
you.
In
fact,
in
your
high
school,
your
classmates
are
also
new
students
and
facing
the
same
problem,
so
you
don't
have
to
worry
too
much
about
it.
There
is
also
something
that
you
can
do
to
change
this
situation.
First,
try
to
invite
some
of
your
classmates
to
take
part
in
some
activities
together
after
school.
This
will
help
you
understand
each
other
better.
Then,
help
your
classmates
when
they
are
in
trouble
and
turn
to
them
for
help
when
you
have
difficulty.
I
believe
you
will
make
many
new
friends
and
have
a
happy
school
life
there.
Yours,
Li
