Unit 4 What's the best movie theater
单元教材分析 本单元是八年级上册Unit4 What’s the best movie theater 围绕adj和adv最高级,对clothes stores、restaurants and supermaekets展开教学,本单元课时教学内容选择贴近学生生活的题材,目的是引发学生大单进行口语交流,了解他人的喜好,树立正确的消费观念,树立正确的人生价值观。通过学生身边的熟悉的环境入手,restaurant(饭店)大丰收、帝君、龙华等入场,让学生心里有明显的对比,用所学知识描述,不仅仅限于对话,让学生对事物的看法。第二节也是引入我们学生身边的clothes stores,目的是通过对比让学生树立正确的消费观于价值观,不盲目随从,也正体现了我们新课标忠倡导“做中学,学中做”的精神,让学生生活中体味英语的魅力,激发学生的学习兴趣,抓住用英语交际的机会,充分感知、积极体验、大胆实践。
单元教学目标 1、能够听、说、读、写重点单词词汇theater, comfortable, seat, screen, close, ticket, worst, cheaply, song, DJ, choose, carefully, reporter, so far, fresh, comfortably, No problem等及adj的比较级和最高级good better best, bad worse worst, biggest, cheapest closest friendliest, most等并运用它询问描述个人爱好(程度)1、能根据他人对话了解个人的爱憎。2、会询问/谈论个人的爱憎。3、能在听、读中辨别adj的比较级和最高级(的用法)。4、会运用已掌握的词、短语、句型,用不同的方式表达同一意思;连表达中会变化句型(句子的形式)1、通过对事物的比较培养学生的辨别(重点)能力,引导学生关注人、事、物的优点长处;在做事前应有相应的准备。2、通过听唱歌曲侧重引发学生的博爱,并增强集体荣誉感。

Step 1 情景导入(Ask three students to stand up.)Teacher:Jim is tall.Sam is taller than Jim.Peter is taller than Sam.So Peter is the tallest of the three.Step 2 完成教材1a—1c的任务1.学生领读单词或词组并且互相背诵,然后写出单词和词组中形容词和副词的比较级。(3分钟)2.你怎么选择去哪家影院?以重要性与不重要性为标准,把1a中的单词短语分类。(2分钟)3.大声朗读1b中的句子,总结形容词和副词最高级的变化规则,教师点拨。然后让学生把1a中的形容词的最高级写出来。(5分钟)4.听录音,把对影院的叙述和电影院匹配起来,在后面的空格中写上影院的名称。(3分钟)5.再听一遍录音,集体核对答案。然后熟读1b中的句子。(5分钟)Step 3 问题探究1.形容词和副词最高级的构成1)hard hardest great greatest2)late latest nice nicest3)big biggest fat fattest4)easy easiest happy happiest5)beautiful most_beautifulinteresting most_interesting6)good best many most一般情况在词尾直接加est;以字母e结尾的只加st;重读闭音节词尾只有一个辅音字母时,先双写该辅音字母,再加est;以辅音字母+y结尾的先变y为i再加est;在多音节和部分双音节词的词前加most或least;此外还有一些不规则变化的单词,需要我们特殊背诵。2.最高级的用法表示三者或三者以上的人或事物的比较,其中一个在某方面超过其他几个时,我们要用形容词或副词的最高级,在句子的后面可以用of (in)短语来表示比较的范围,形容词的最高级前面一般要加定冠词the。副词最高级前面的the可以省去。
