本单元在教材中的作用和地位
作用：本册教材安排了My classroom、My schoolbag等贴近学生生活的内容。本单元主要话题是My home,是接下来的话题学习的基础。
地位：家的描述在实际生活中有着广泛的应用， 也为下一单元My Family 的学习做好铺垫。所以，本单元在教材中的地位是至关重要的。
教学内容
本课教学内容是四年级上册unit4 My home的第一课时，包括A、Let‘s Learn中5个房间的名称 ，Let’s do中5个相关短语。
作为一堂单词新授课，本节课教学内容设计思路清晰简洁，利于学生掌握。
教学目标
[知识目标] 能听、说、认读study、living room、 bedroom、bathroom、kitchen五个单词；能听懂Let‘s do部分的指示语，并按照指令做出相应的动作。
[能力目标]
能用简单的句子描述自己的家，如：“This is my home.……” [情感目标] 初步培养学生对家的热爱。
教学重难点
教学重点：听说认读单词study、living room、bedroom、bathroom、kitchen，能用简单的句子描述自己的家，如：“This is my home. ……”
教学难点：正确掌握单词bedroom、 kitchen、 bathroom的发音。
新英语课程标准指出，基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
因此我采用“任务——探究——创造”型教学模式.
设计理念
教法
1、 教法设计 采用了多媒体教学法、游戏教学法、情境教学法、鼓励法等方法，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
2 、学法指导 通过让学生自己动手、动脑、表演、小组合作进行学习，将有关知识重新提炼总结。
教具准备
1、精美、生动的课件。
2、5个房间的单词卡片和图片。
3、学生课前准备好描绘自己家的简笔画。

教学设计流程
一、Warm-up
Listen a diary: Xiyangyang’s diary.
展示home, 导入本课学习。
设计意图：通过寻找喜羊羊这条主线来导入。使学生紧张的心情得到最大的放松.
二、Presentation(新授呈现)
1. 新授living room，。
寻找喜羊羊，进入:Room 1，出示living room, 利用词卡帮助记忆。
通过what can you do in this room I can… 来表达.引出watch TV的学习。
2. 继续寻找喜羊羊，又进入三个房间： study、kitchen 、bedroom、学习房间名称及相应的短语。
3．新授bathroom。
出乎意料，学生的探秘精神被调动。疑惑之时，显示隐藏房间5。学习bathroom.进而学习相关的短语。
三、Practice
1.What’s missing游戏。
2. 播放视频Let’s do边说边做动作.
3.评选最佳“ Home设计师”。
四、Consolidation （巩固）
1、 课件展示listen and number.
2、Read and tick or cross.
。 巩固所学知识，考察学生的快速反应能力和观察判断能力。

教学内容：
本课的教学内容是四年级上册unit4 My home的第一课时，包括A、Let‘s Learn、 Let’s do。本单元主要话题之一是room。所以首先应让学生掌握各个房间的名称，这是十分重要的，也是必要的，是接下来的话题学习的基础。
教学目标：
知识目标：
a、学习表达房间的词汇：living room 、study 、bedroom 、kitchen 、bathroom 五个单词，并能在生活环境中相互交流。
b、能听懂Let's do部分的指示语，并按照指令做出相应的动作。
能力目标：结合所学知识能简单描述自己的家，描述各个房间的名称、特征等。如：“this is my home……”
情感目标：初步培养学生对家的热爱。

（一）、Warming up.
A．Greeting.自由交谈以熟悉学生。
B．读喜羊羊日记，寻找喜羊羊。
T：今天我们要去羊村找同学们非常喜欢的“喜羊羊”玩，不过他和同学们做了一个小游戏，他躲在家里藏起来了，但是给你们留下了线索——他的日记，让我们在欢快的音乐声中听听他的日记吧！……
S：喜羊羊也许在…房间
T：喜羊羊欢迎我们去他家，那我们就去看一看吧！let’s see,Where is Xiyangyang
（二）Presetation.
寻找喜羊羊，进入第一个房间。
T:Boys and girls ,Where is Xiyangyang Please guess!
S:He’s in Room 1/Room 3/……
T: OK,let’s go.(点击相应的门)。Oh ,this is the living room./study/……(板书，并领读此单词) 看老师口型，注意发音要点。再让学生单个读，以检查发音的准确性。（使用词卡和图卡帮助操练）
T： What can you do in this room
S: I can watch TV./……
T:Yes ,watch TV.（教师引领学生边说边做动作）。
引入歌谣：Go to the living room.Go to the living room.
Watch TV.Watch TV.
2、继续寻找喜羊羊，又进入三个房间。
T:Oh,Xiyangyang is not in the living room. Where is he Guess again,please.根据学生的猜测进入三个房间，学习三个房间名称的学习。继而学习相应的短语。
3.最终在隐藏的房间里找到了喜羊羊。
T:Xiyangyang is not in Room 1、2、3、4.Where is he Let’s see.
Room 5 . Oh,He is here.He is in the bathroom.(板书并教读bathroom.)
T:What can you do in this room 引出：take a shower.领学生边说边做动作。
【设计意图 】
顺着寻找喜羊羊这条主线，让学生在游戏当中进入各个房间名称的学习，动口、动手，调动学生的多种感觉器官，参与到了学习当中。单词的语音语调训练，我采取：先让学生听我说，初步感知单词读音；再通过听录音，加深对单词的记忆。图文并用，提高了学生学习的积极性和学习效率。
（三）Practise.
A、猜失踪房间名称。就是我们经常做的“What’s missing ”的游戏，给学生看一间房子，几秒后消失，让学生猜 “What’s missing ”，培养学生的瞬间的记忆力和观察能力！
B、播放视频Let’s do。 极富节奏的打击乐作为伴奏、轻快地将各教学内容结合起来，琅琅上口，深受学生的喜欢。
C、评选最佳“ Home设计师”。利用课前画好的Home简笔画。小组合作， 介绍自己的Home .
【设计意图 】
在操练单词方面，我采取了多种教学活动，教学活动形式的多样化对维持他们的注意力十分重要，在孩子喜欢的游戏中操练单词，可以调动学生的积极性，激发学习的兴趣。所以我设计了几个小游戏，让学生在游戏中巩固单词。
（四）Consolidation.

【设计意图 】
巩固所学知识，考察学生的快速反应能力和观察判断能力。
（五）Extension.
1、展示小作文《My Home》.让学生初步感知写作。
2、Sing a song 《My Bedroom》
3、利用谚语培养学生对家的热爱。“East or west,Home is the Best.”金窝银窝不如自己的草窝。
【设计意图 】
出示一篇描写关于自己家的短文供学生阅读，以便让本课的学习有更高的提升。谚语的引入渗透了情感教育。在歌声中结束本课的教学，同时也布置完家庭作业。
