教学重点 Foster new words : eyes, nose, big, small.Sentence:“Look at my eye / nose . It's big / small .
教学难点 To compare the size of things by using sentence :“Look at my eye / nose . It's big / small .” And make sure they can use the sentences correctly.
教学方法 In this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”, “Communicative method” and “Discussing method”

Teaching procedure :Step 1 Warming up Greeting ,review stationery include a book to introduce three minutes per lesson --Disciple Gauge : How to read books .Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding. greetings and review stationery make the connection natural for the next step.Step 2. Lead-in1.After disciple gauge , emphasize reading must use the heart, eyes and mouth , lead to the title : Look at my nose and eyes.2. Game :Guess and say quickly .Guess and say quickly by actions and pictures to review animal word 3. Chant .Purpose : In this part ,game to review can stimulate interest ,make the new is known by the old ,the chant can deepen the impression , and pave the way for the next link.Step 3 Presentation1.Take out two teddy bears, one big and one small, compare with them , and bring out new words, big and small. Draw two circles and put up word cards :big and small on the board . Learn and drill new words: big and small.2. Drills: Touch and say .Play games: big watermelon and small watermelon.3.Pair work: do and say the size game .4. Point to the bear’s one eye and nose , ask : “Look , what’s this ” And point to one of my eyes at the same time, leading to new words : eye .Use the same way to show out new word : nose .5.In the big circle of the blackboard, draw the eyes and nose to make the circle into a face ,put up word cards ,teach and learn new words :eye ,nose .6.Drills : Point and say . Lead to the dialogue: Look at my eye / nose . It's big / small . (Purpose: Communicative method and discussing method are used in this step. This activity is to improve students’ attention and interest, to help the Ss understand the language easily and naturally)Step 4. Practice1. Pair work :Task1 : point and say then act it out .2. After watch and listen a cartoon about the text , Look , listen and do task 2 : Put sentences in right order3. Play the role and act .4.Task 3 : Pair work: Write the right numbers.(Purpose: This step adopts task-based teaching method. The activity is to develop Ss’ ability of communication and cooperation . )Step 5. Extension Talk about anything they learned , give students a model , then finish the task 4 :Make a new dialogue . (Purpose:Cultivate students' ability of autonomous learning and cooperative thinking, enhance the sense of competition and the ability to use language.)
