内容分析： 本部分学生学习的单词和词组时：cooks Chinese food，studies Chinese, does word puzzles, goes hiking。教材通过John和他的弟弟谈论自己的笔友的场景呈现了单词的词形和意义。使学生学会在情景中正确运用重点句型了解他人住处，习惯以及爱好等的信息，结交与自己志趣相投的朋友。
