Basic aims of this lesson:
1. Finish the task the teacher given in the lessons.
2. The ability to read Part D with the given picture.
3. Retell the story on Part D.
4. The ability to know the sound in “oo-”.
The ability to read the sentence.
The ability to write the word in correct form
The ability to say the chant.
The ability to introduce the picture that the students draw.
Teaching difficulties:
Find the ruler of the sound in “oo-”.
Help the student cultivate their reading ability in Part D.

Teaching process
Step 1 Warming up:
Task 1: do the acting and guess.
Task 2:Students draw a picture according to the teacher’s given words.
Step 2 Reading
·Everybody listen the tape and arrange the picture.
·Task 3: Retell the story in groups.
Retell in class.
Step 3 Practice
· Task 4: Read the words aloud zoo, swimming pool, the moon, stool, broom.
Then find the ruler, who will find it will be the winner.
Have a match between groups.
· Task 5: Read the sentences.
The boy on the moon eats with a spoon, while the witch zooms past on her broom.
Step 4. Consolidation
Do the writing part.
Do the role-play on chant.
Teacher give the assessments.
Do the Part C、D in the Exercise.
Homework: 1. Listening to the tape, recite the text.
2. Make a picture of dinosaur and a dog.
