Teaching aims（教学目标） By the end of this lesson, students are expected to Outcome Know about how to make French toast and talk about the way to make different food clearly and fluently.Knowledge and competence1) Be able to get useful information from article by applying some reading skills. 2) Increase knowledge about food making. 3) Be able to talk about how to make different food. 4) Be able to make some food. Emotion attitude and concept of value.Be able to build confidence and cultivate awareness of cooperation.Learn to know about that it is fun to make food.
Analysis ofthe lesson（课程分析） 1) To read and understand the article.2) To catch information from article by applying reading skills.3) To talk about making different food by using English flexibly.
Difficulties（难点） 1) To make clear the way of making French toast and be able to talk about them clearly and fluently.2) To talk about making different food with their own words.

Pre-task stage(Presentation and practice) 1. Show a video about making a cake.2. To get students to talk about a recipe for a cake.3. Show video about a recipe for French toast and get students to remember the recipe for French toast.4. Check the pre-task sheet Watch the video.Talk about the recipe for a cake and western food.Learn the recipe for French toast.Finish the pre-task sheet and see if the kids have some difficulties. 观看视频，谈论制作蛋糕，活跃课堂气氛。引入主题, 西方国家喜欢吃的糕点，从而引出课本的 A recipe for food。观看课文视频，带着问题欣赏影片有助于了解课文，对整篇文章有统一、完整的印象。通过完成预习单，检测学生对课文预习是否有需要解决的知识难点。
While-task stage(production) Show pictures and introduction about some new words.Match the pictures about the procedure of making French toast.Finish the consolidation task sheet.Let students work in groups, talk about their favourite food. Look at pictures about new words, read the introduction and catch useful information.Students finish some exercises by themselves.3. Answer questions in the consolidation sheet.4.
